Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Not talk to me."
Voidfiller admits, though he still seems upset by it.

 

"He hasn't been talking to you." Iruk sighs.

 

"Because he hasn't been trying, and neither have I. But when I start trying, I don't want him to avoid me."

 

"Well, you're the one avoiding him. Plus, you could probably strike something up with the rest of the group if something went wrong. But, Crystal's forgiven murderers, I doubt he'd get mad at you in the first place."

 

Voidfiller thinks for a bit.
"Whatever."
It stands up.
"I'll deal with it soon. I still have to check to see if I took care of the arena properly, anyways."

 

Iruk reverts to his appearance as the "Supervisor," the mist fading.
"Good enough, you're free to go. Thank you for your cooperation." He says, standing up and opening the door.

 

"No problem."
It says, walking to the door and offering Iruk a folded up piece of lined paper.
"You're going to want to read what's inside."
Voidfiller finishes, then exits.

 

Iruk takes it, desummoning it as he walks out of sight.

 

Voidfiller walks back over to the area that the arena fights occurred.

 

The crowd's left, the arena just sitting in the middle of the street.

 

With a short few seconds of thinking, the arena's gone, along with any scraps it may have left.
Voidfiller looks around to see if the line for the bar is still as long.

 

It's closed.

 

Voidfiller does one last sweep of the town to see if there's anything of interest.

 

Not really. Nothing out of the norm.


Iruk unfolds the note, now outside the city limits.

 

Voidfiller sprouts wings and flies upwards, scanning what's beyond the town.

It seems to be just that, a hastily scrawled note that's just legible enough to be read, but Iruk can safely infer that it wasn't done by hand.
It reads: "hey so there's this storm off into the sea crated by some goddess of storms
there's a chance that I can meet this goddess to talk in like a week or so
since you're around I thought it'd be nice to invite you
so if you don't have anything better to do or any major responsibilities in about 7 days meet me by the front gate
where you first saw me
I mean if this interests you
I won't be upset if you don't come
Ok have a nice week
- VF"

 

A couple castles, a convoy escorting a merchant, and a levitating draconian leaving the same city Voidfiller just left, Iruk also taking a different way out.

 

Voidfiller flies a bit closer to the draconian, curious.

 

They seem to be carrying a few cords of lumber and a cart of ores... telekinetically, of course. They're just making their way out of the Darklands, though they seem to be unarmed.

 

Voidfiller stalks them a bit, seeing if they look familiar.

 

They don't, but Voidfiller finds himself being watched within two minutes.
