    It's used in the quest "Finding the Light".

    If you're already at that point and you need to know what to do, you need to talk to the Guardian of the Forest with a Taproot and a Goat Volt Horn (this is obtained by killing a rare yellow sheep around the Light Forest.)

    It's sort of a riddle. It says you need something to wake him up and nearby there is a house or so, I don't really know, and in that house you get a hint leading to the volt goat iirc.

    The quest book said I only needed the Taproot, so I thought the quest was glitched. I read through the whole quest before doing it, and I missed the Volt Goat Horn part...
