Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yeah, but I wouldn't get to spend more time here. And I want to make sure I cleaned up the arena properly."

 

The Supervisor hesitates.
"I believe my loophole to that is probation, however if you're anywhere as clever as I think you are, then my efforts won't matter much. If it's any insight to who I really am, I know you emerged from and re-entered that Crystal... meaning that I can scratch off the idea that you are one and the same."
They let off a bit of a wry smile.

 

Voidfiller smiles as well, clearly happy with the Supervisor's intelligence.
"Who's listening to us right now? Lying will most likely make this harder."
Voidfiller asks, clearly meaning what it's saying.

 

With a snap of his fingers, the room is covered in a haze.
"Why don't we keep this between us, Voidfiller?" He says.

 

"Well how about that."
Voidfiller grins, clearly satisfied.
"So, I'm getting the impression you're not going to tell me who you are."

 

The haze seems to mostly just be water.
"Not directly, no. Where's the fun in that? We already know each other, but it's much more fun pretending we don't." He chuckles.

 

"Really, I'm this close to just digging through your mind and finding it for myself. But once again, where's the fun in that?"
Voidfiller holds up this thumb and pointer finger in a gap.

 

"Ah, I'd love to see you try." He grins.

 

"Where do you think I got my knack for creation? Invading minds by possession was my average Friday night back in the day."

 

"If I had one... your next clue, is that I am not human or shifter. If you cannot pinpoint my identity, then I suppose I just have to call our little battle of wits a victory on my end."

 

"Yeah, no shit. I know you're a draconian, or something close to them. Serves me right for not really paying attention to distinguish them, I guess."

 

"We'll call it a draw." He chuckles.

His armor starts to shift along hinges, quickly turning what looks like an armored human into what looks like a dark grey scaled draconian.
"Perhaps the name 'Iruk' might ring a bell? Your companions are the ones who gave me that name..."

 

Voidfiller thinks for a few moments, then actually remembers, and snaps.
"Oh, yeah! You! You just kinda disappeared, what the hell happened?"

 

Iruk smiles.
"Aj took me into his robotics lab, said he could get me fixed up and upgraded a bit. I may have asked for a little much, but he did tell me I could get absolutely any upgrade I wanted... I just had to hope that his engineers could understand draconian prototype blueprints. They did."
Pause.
"Since then, I came back here thinking you went back to tie up loose ends. When there were no reports of you or anyone else returning, I decided I'd see if I could get a few things in line myself. That answer was... barely."

 

Voidfiller keeps smiling, clearly happy, but then evidently starts to think more, and its thinking immediately gets it down.
"So, you gave way, so I guess I should too, huh..."
It sighs, clearly not quite pumped for its reveal.

 

"You gave me your name, and you're a separate entity from Crystal. If you have anything else to reveal, then you may as well do it on your accord, not Commander Emerald's."

 

Voidfiller breathes in and out a bit, taking its time.
"How many peop-"
It cuts itself off, then shakes its head, muttering something.

 

"Still none, but Emerald will probably look through you sooner or later."

 

"That's not what I was going to ask. But it doesn't matter now, because I'm not going to fucking ask it."
Voidfiller takes a few more deep breathes.
"I'm going to deal with what I've done. Soon."

 

"You didn't ask anything, though it seems like you've put yourself in a sub-optimal situation."
