"Then why did you bring up killing her?"


"I'm not brave, how rude! However, it would be fun to play with a bully. I haven't done it since four hours ahead!"
Tenebrae feels watched.

 

"To answer your question of backstabbing." I say.


"Are you one of the god of time's creations? Is he meddling with creation again?" Tenebrae asks.

 

Ruby pauses, before nodding.
"Okay, sure... why don't I remember that, then? Or you...?"


"That lazy drunk? Ha! He couldn't dream of failing this hard!"

 

"That, I cannot answer. I believe the answer to that question is something you'll need to find for yourself." I say.


"He is not an alcoholic, though you've proven your worth already. I have no use for you." Tenebrae says.

 

"But you brought me back... you had to know what happened."


"Oh, why would you use me? Nobody uses me. I use you!"

 

"As I recall, you turned against us and tried to attack us, before using an immense amount of power to destroy Shadow Stephanie, to the point of almost death." I say.


"This conversation is pointless." Tenebrae says, severing the link.

 

"If I never met you before, how could I turn on you?"


There is no link to sever.
"That's good, though! Well-rounded conversations are more enjoyable!"

 

"Because you dont have a head"

"Alright, well how about this:"
The thing takes away the slingshot, presenting the orb. The orb is medium sized, looks squishy, and has an 'X' marked in one side.
The thing summons a glass, clearly preparing for a presentation.
"With the intent of creating water, this ball will do exactly that when squeezed."
The thing squeezes the ball, and water flows out of the orb like a sponge, and into the glass.
"It creates an infinite amount of fresh water, but if you don't drink it, it disappears within four hours. Squeezing it with the intent of fire creates a jet of fire from the center of the 'X', which gets smaller in range the longer you use it."
The thing rotates the ball, showing the 'X'.
"And finally, squeezing with the intent of life create a small amount of power that pours from the 'X'. Apply this pink power and it burns like hell, but heals major wounds, cures minor sickness, and can temporarily restore life. You can only get the power once a month, though. Get it?"

 

"You have met me before, you just don't remember." I say.


Tenebrae just doesn't respond.

 

"Oh right"


"I think that's illegal to sell here..."

"Well, duh, you're the guy I spoke to from that crystal thing, right?"


"Now you're getting the hang of it! I knew we'd make good partners! Okay, I'll be back yesterday!" It says, before Tenebrae finally stops feeling watched.

 

"Yes, though if you don't remember me, I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to go see your siblings." I say.

 

"Not big on family, are you?" Ruby asks, annoyed.

 

"Hm?" I ask, confused.

 

"Not letting me see my siblings? It seems the more you talk, the more I hate you."

 

"In general i dont know how you can still think so i can let you off with memory problems"

"Then keep it. I don't care, because I'm not selling it. My proposal is that you take one and I keep the other."

 

"I dont know either so thanks"


"The rings or the orb?"

 

"That's the Ruby I know," I say, smiling, "I am allowing you to see your siblings, though."

 

Ruby sighs, then smiles.
"You're spouting nonsense, but I think I like you."

 

"You did have an infatuation for me too," I say, "But I might as well state now that I have a girlfriend."

 

"Did people even try talking to you"

"Ask yourself, it's your choice. The rings you can sell here, but the orb has different uses, and you might be able to sell it somewhere else."
