can i submit a thing here while shamelessly advertising a fun/unique playstyle (and my shitty thread)

~8k dps (around 9k if you get lucky with dex tho)
its really unconventional and i dont really see a lot of other people running anything besides spell spam/rainbow tank on mage

Completely Original! Definately NOT meta at all! that is if you discount 2 certain rings, a pair of pants, some dirty boots, an incompetent chestplate (see what I did there?), and OMG WHY ARE YOU WEARING A BUG ON YOUR HEAD!

 

i was mostly referring it to be off-meta due to playstyle but then again it does use meta gear

 

well honestly the playstyle is just good ol spam clicking and healing every 2 seconds or so

 

at least it's different than just spamming m2-m2-m1 and heal which seems to be norm among mage players

Powders for these?

 

I'd say Earth and Thunder Powders, Preferably thunder special because it activates lifesteal, and you have some of that in this build.

 

I made a slightly more meta version of the build here if anyone is interested :p It doesn't use Life Steal though. Also, if anyone tries a Petrified Horror build, just remember that Infused Hive Bow is 100% better for both dmg and mana due to 20% elemental dmg and 2/4 mr & ms. Build here. On the build I listed, Hive Bow increases the bomb arrow from 10k to 14k with 11.3k avg :p. If you plug Infused Hive instead of Petrified Horror, use 1 earth powder then use thunders, in that order. Earth Powder converts 46% of 400-600 to earth (202-298) and 4 thunders converting at 28% per powder gives you enough thunder dmg (236-484). If you use 2 earth powders, not enough thunder is added, and leaves you with an almost earth sniper instead of a dual element weapon and applying 4 thunders and 1 earth leaves you with... 18-22 earth dmg... yea, just do what I say lol. OH! I almost forgot! If using petrified horror, use all thunder powders, since it already has enough earth damage.

i don't think it really matters if its off meta if a level 70 could beat it

 

a level 70 cant beat, its a very decent build
the only thing wrong with this build is scorpio

its a creative, fun, pretty good and off meta build

 

Not really,

Its a build that was viable in the update 1.14, yes 2 major updates ago, let that sink in,

also its using taurus and it says "melee dps" its not good DPS because of taurus,


My point is a non meta build doesn't have to be trash

oh by the way its not off meta its the most generic build ever
