Why Do Mythic Identifications Matter So Much?

Hello everyone!
No, I'm not dead, I just didn't have any thread ideas for a while.

Anyways... Today I want to talk about mythic IDs, And how they effect the actual price of a mythic, Sometimes for no reason at all.

Of course that there are a lot of mythics which have key IDs that they'll be near useless without, Such as Pure, Stratiformis, And Guardian... Who's prices heavily depends on the IDs.
But there are also mythics such as Gaia, Fatal, And Alkatraz, Who's price is still heavily dependant on the IDs while they pretty much don't matter for shit.

And I'm going to prove to you why.

Let's start with Alkatraz.
-A minimum IDed Alkatraz would go for about 4 stacks at most today.
-A maximum IDed Alkatraz or just a really good one would go for 7 stacks of LE at the least.

That's a gap of 3 stacks of LE.

Using wynndata.tk I've checked if there's an actual difference... And guess what?

4 stacks Alkatraz:
An average of 4948~ melee damage with no armor (No crit).

7 stacks Alkatraz (Literally max IDed):
An average of 5388~ melee damage with no armor (No crit).

An least you care about exploding and earth defense a lot.
The difference is only 440 damage... Is this really worth paying 3 more stacks of LE?

Now let's check Fatal...
-A minimum or very bad IDed Fatal in today's market would go for 6 stacks of LE at most.
-A maximum IDed or a nearly maximum Fatal in today's market would go for about 9 stacks of LE at the least.

There's a gap of 3 stacks of LE.

6 stacks Fatal:
8396~ average meteore damage (With crit).

9 stacks Fatal (Max IDed):
8918~ average meteore damage (With crit).

The damage difference is only 522... That is not much is it?
Now again... Is this worth paying 3 more stacks of LE?

From what I've seen so far... The only reason people would rather buy good IDed mythics from the type of mythics where IDs don't matter shit is only so they can say "Oh look I have a good IDed mythic!", Now I'm not judging, But this doesn't seem very logical to me.

Also keep in mind, Only to show you how huge the difference is I've shown the highest possible price for the bad mythics, And lowest possible price for the good mythics, In reality the gap is going to be much bigger.

Long story short - Don't be afraid to buy shit mythics.

I totally agree, thrunda is also pretty overpriced with its stats imo.
(I think it goes from 7-9?)
I was looking at an idol that had decent stats and high soul point regen and I asked how much, and he said 5 stacks because it has max sp regen and its op. What. 2 stacks more for one ID.

 

With some ids if it's one of the main things the mythic's centred(eg ws on a strait)around it's important and various regens(mana etc) can matter to you having +/- regen which is important and -lifesteal is also important because you don't want to start losing health when you hit stuff.

 

How about we give poor people more money and rich people less money!

Bad Fatal, 6 stax max ? euhhh no. The only reason why it would be that, is because people like you, saying it is worth 6 stacks. Next thread will say 5 stacks. And I have never ever seen a fatal go for less then 6 stacks.
Guys, pls stop giving random prices to fatal. People just say the price is dropping, then people drop their prices, so everyone knows the price drops. So no one is going to buy one, because they know that the price is going to drop. These posts, where people say the price of mythics, or the demand, are pure shit for the market.
I know people disagree with me, this is what I think.

Bragging rights? I mean, who wouldn't want to brag to their friends on Facebook that they have a "godly fatal".

Also some people are so rich they can spend money to get a slightly better mythic and be totally fine, while us poor people just tend to buy the bare minimum for our builds.

If you have 10 stacks of LE, it's not.
If you have 100 stacks of LE, it is.

It's all relative, plus, you are not paying just for IDs, you are paying for bragging rights and the rarity of ID combinations.
Price is never just about quality.
