Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

A large tree forms a bridge over a gap leading to a house near to town, an archway through he bottom part of the house leading onward with the path. The path ends up lowering toward a large, calm stream, but Alice's path is blocked by a gate.

 

Alice checks for guards or a remote method of communication, now curious about the house and town.

"O-oh, sorry. We thought you'd left."

 

Alice ends up finding another animal like the one she saw at the Skyrail station in the house, though this one looks a lot older.

"Oh, hello Alice." The animal says.

 

Alice turns.
"Uhm... hello.
...Have we met before?"

 

"No, but I know a lot about you. You're a draconian, aren't you? Well, you used to be, before you were cursed to have the body of darkness, and ended up blending in with Shadow society before their goddess gave you new life as one of them. You decided to buy a house in the valley town a Skyrail away from here, and you've been contacted by faeries, yes?" The animal asks.

 

"The third round never came, I was just wondering what took so long."
The thing comments, sitting back down.

 

Alice seems suspicious.
"Yes... how many other people know me here?"

"Oh, really? Sorry about that. I'll go make sure you get that." They say, rushing off into a back room.

 

"Nobody else. I suggest you take a look on my roof, it may answer a few things." The animal says, pointing up to an open hatch on the ceiling of his home, a bit of light coming through.

 

"Thank you."
It says, then just waits.

 

Alice uses distortions to walk up onto their roof, glancing at the hatch.

Finally, five other drinks come. One is blue, and the rest are transparent.

 

The thing smiles and nods to the worker before downing the blue drink.

 

It seems to remove any lingering flavor in its mouth, then intensifies it as an aftertaste.

 

There appears to be a walkway toward what looks like an extremely large telescope on the edge of the house.

 

The thing then goes on to taste the transparent ones in a random order, taking time in between each.

 

"What is this for?" She asks, glancing back at the animal.

Strong, stronger, tame, and so strong it's not sure it's legal to sell.

 

It neatly arranges the glasses as it thinks for a bit.

 

Nobody says a word to it.

 

"Take a look through it." The animal says.

 

Alice does so, curious.

 

Alice can see a man in a field looking around, scratching his arm for a moment before looking happy.
