Ik I keep asking people but if pardoxial wants to play a warlock this is like 5th magic user in the party and

I think I'll be able to use all the stuff in the campaign because I have like 2 weeks to review everything only thing I can't review is the dm handbook, and the player handbook
Also I'm adding some of my friends who are new so they might take able t to understand it but they should be fine

Only thing is I let the one that burns evrything we play anything be a flame
This can only end well

Also your charcter seems cool spyro this is going to be an interesting campaign
Either because it's going to flop hard or go well

I would argue that it's not the DM's choice what kind of characters the party composes of... and anyway, a tank isn't necessary in every party, especially if we have a wizard who knows what they're doing. The main goal of the tank is to take hits and occupy the biggest enemies, which a wizard specializing in battlefield control can do easily.

Regardless, I'll try and see if I can think of something tankier, but Hexblade is still my number one choice.

Here's the Unearthed Arcana I'm using. The content I'm using for my character comes from "The Hexblade" patron, and some of the entries under "Eldritch Invocations."

EDIT: Also, what type of warlock do you already have? Because there are a lot of ways to play a warlock...

 

Heat: "I can drag the barrels down."

 

Ti'Lin:"Yes, but they would just float back up if you let go of them. So if we attach a big rock to it, using some rope, we'll have an air pocket."

 

Heat: "True. Let us begin."
*I start tying boulders to the barrels*

 

Ti'Lin:"Do you have any rope? I know Yevor does."

 

Heat: "I have 50 feet of rope in my dungeoneer's pack."

 

Ti'Lin:"How many barrels we have? 4 or something?"

 

I took a look at your warlock thing it looks more tanky than I thought yours would go good
The current warlock is I think a warlock bound to the fiend..
Also I have 3 campaign plans set up so we have backup plans

I agree with Paradox on all accounts. It's the DM's job to run the world, but they shouldnt tell the players what to do. Remember when you said you wanted to be a Taxabi Artificer? I didnt say no, I said we already have one so it might be weird but you can still do it. You shouldnt force players to take certain roles.

Also, Hexblade is on the same par as Fiend-Bladelock for tank warlocks, except they dont want to get hit (whereas fiend warlocks tend to have spells that hurt the attacker). Every warlock is different, but hexblade is definetly tied for the tankiest

Assuming Ti Lin jumps into his bag, that leaves 6 people and 4 barrels.

I just put the bag over my head and every now and then look to see where I'm heading.

 

You can, you just wont be able to move or see or anything, and you only have 10 minutes air

 

Why wouldn't I be able to move if I put it over my head?

Sorry I haven't posted until now, but alerts weren't working. Although, I'm playing a Divination wizard specializing in, well, divination, but I do have a decent crowd-control spell.

 

I thought you might find this guide entertaining... it's written in a very fun style, and has a lot of good pointers.

Anyway, divination wizards are borderline overpowered, so that should be fun.
