Wynncraft Is Allergic To The Macro/keybind Mod?

I wanted to make a few macros for spells and powder specials, but the mod does not seem to mix well with WC; specifically the actual WC worlds. The lobby and Nether have no issues.
Something about the mod causes my FPS to drop from the usual 60 down to 4-6 whole, juicy frames a second.

The thing that confuses me is that this happens only in WC worlds. I logged on to a few large hub servers and some small servers with no visible change in FPS. At this point I figured it had to be something about the Wynnpack or the server's code confusing the mod and making it freak out, because the lobby does not have the usual WC features enabled and it wasn't causing me lag. To test this I joined the nether expecting the buttery-smooth 5 fps due to the wynnpack and other features being enabled, but I had perfect FPS (it was actually much better than normal. I was hitting ~120).

It's something about the WC servers or map that reacts poorly with the Macro mod.

I just find it strange that a server specific bugs like this can even happen, and even stranger that it's such a controversial topic among staff. I'm somewhat suspicious that this could be intentional (It's probably not, but maybe...).

If there's no solution/explanation, then what are the alternatives?

 

I mean, the WC map is pretty huge compared to the lobby. Despite that, macros aren't allowed if they're on a loop, so you wouldn't really get much out of this anyway.

Try optifine, if you must.

 

I had optifine on. Turning everything to the absolute minimum setting did not change anything. It acts as if I had set the FPS slider to 6 (which it visibly is not).

I can run my custom modpack with 70+ mods in an amplified world with higher FPS than in this scenario, so it's neither the terrain or my computer.

 

In that case, you could just try switching macro mods. Not really much anyone can do if it's reacting poorly to Wynn.

 

It really doesn't look like there are any other options, and I know for a fact that other people have no issues with this mod on WC. I guess the universe is just shitting on me as hard as possible.

A bug that, as far as I know, occurs only on my computer, and only on the one server I want to use this for. woohoo...

 

I mean, there's plenty of ways to set a macro. There's certainly more than one macro mod for MC, and plenty of third party programs you could probably use.

Either way, you shouldn't get too discouraged because of it. Macros would only save you a few clicks at a time.

 

Wynn Expansion has built in macros, why not get that?

I love Wynn Expansion but those macros are so painfully slow and only work about 50% of the time.

Plus my main focus was the powder special macro as I find it the most annoying to do manually.

Oh I am going to use another program if I can't find a solution. I made this thread more because I found it bizarre that it only happens on WC servers than I did expecting help.

Oh that's good. It's an actual issue and not just because I pissed off some elder god.

 

Well nvm I'm dumb. the mod has no issues in 1.11.2. it's just the 1.10.2 version.

Well nvm it just kills itself differently. Starts out normal and loses about one FPS every 10 seconds until it hits 0 and the game crashes. if you leave and rejoin before this happens it restarts

 

Happens to me too, I've never solved the problem :/
