Actual Fw Suggestion... Lord_he1mchen

Hey everybody! So today I will be *actually* making an FW suggestion on... Lord_He1mchen.

Some of it cuz mod some of it cuz actual stuff he did.

Stuff he did

One thing, and probably the most important thing that he did, was this.
That's right, his quest and boss help thread. He's done so many great things in that thread.
Even I have come there before to get help. And the best part about it?
It's completely free. (of money)
He doesn't do wybel's lab but that's beside the point.

He is a good addition to the moderator team, as most of them are inactive.
It's really nice to see an active member that helps out a lot.
I mean I'm pretty active myself (not to self-promote) but this guy is on even more than most mods.
The best part about it, he still maintains his quest and boss fight help thread and still helps others.

He didn't do as much stuff as other people did, but hey. It's still workable.

TBH I agree... and I think that the moderators that haven't been FW should get it. Even though they already have mod rank, which is one of the highest ranks you can get, without being an Admin, it would make sense if they got FW to kinda give those who really don't know the mods that well, and why those mods deserved their title. Not sure, maybe it's just me, but I feel like that could be a thing that could happen.

And I say this, because I really DON'T know a whole lot about @Lord_He1mchen but I would love to learn more about him through the FW interview. I'm not sure, maybe its just me, and maybe people have conflicting viewpoints, but I agree that he should get FW based off of what I've read here, but not based off what I know of him, given I know very little personally.

This is what I saw and I was like "wat?" at first.
(I already had Featured Wynncraftian).
Also I agree, Honestly the thing that he did with free boss/quests service was quite unique.

Also nobody cares for it cuz very few people ever go on GitHub, but I'm quite active there.

i don't agree, as moderators shouldn't be held on a pedestal to show that they've contributed to the community, that's their job. Also, Slyam, this is pretty childish. The only thing hes's really done is be active and help with boss battles. If this is what makes a FW in your eyes, then a lot of other people deserve it too.

You obviously have no idea what I have done so far. Also, beside the fact that helping players with bosses is absolutely nothing that a mod has to do, I started that boss help stuff long before I became a mod. And thats by far not the only thing I have done in order to help players.
But I dont really need/want it anyway so lets just forget about that.

 

Totally agree with your decision! tbh, if someone would ask me "Hey, name me some mods you know", he would be the first one I'd mention besides @Headset_O and @Pretzule. (Headset because I know him back from 2014/15, I'm sure he was mod there too.... that's quite a long time!)

^ this is the only thing in your post I somehow disagree, I'm sure all mods do (maybe more, maybe less than another one) their best in doing their job. Not everyone has that much spare time and I think you shouldn't "praise" him about his online time, when there may be others who would be online that much, but can't due to their job, school or whatever. Hope you don't misunderstand me, although he's still doing a great job for the community!

I agree. From what I've seen in this short amount of time he seems to influent the network in many positive ways. If somebody deserves to be a FW it is him.

Beside that im already mod which is a big honor and I don't really want/need FW.

 

There are multiple fw, one every two weeks.

You can use "they" as a very polite salutation.
Like "their majesty Mrs. xxx"... So everything is fine. Ok, besides that "thhe moderator team" actually. :D

 

It's like the Royal "we" and third person.
It's also a great way to talk about someone if you don't know if they are male or female
