The reason I ask this question is because I basically announced myself to be town. It wouldn't be necessary to lynch myself to start a wave of votes.

Gigavern's scumtells seem... forged now that I see it. I wouldn't be surprised if he was mafia, a third-party, or some other role. Maybe a village idiot with a Jester wincon(which can give the mafia TWO nightkills instead of one, depending on the mod)?
