Grinding For Mythics

Hey everyone. I'm currently lvl 94 and leveling to 95 so i can do some quests again
Meanwhile I've been working on my Loot Bonus Set.
My LB is currently at 171% (still need to buy a The Forgery and Platinum. if you have either sell me them :D)
Total will be about 205% later on

This means i have a 1/48000 chance to get a mythic drop

So does anyone know a good grinding spot with a lot of lvl 95 or 98 or something like that enemies where i can grind for a mythic drop? I don't care about the xp the enemies give purely how well i can grind them for Mythics. so a lot of mobs with a lot of drops and hopefully low health mobs since my arrow bomb is only about 3k damage (ill also have 6.5k hp so its fine if the enemies can hit a bit harder then normal)

also does anyone know the drop rate of a legendary? i think its somewhere about 0.2% (1/500) but i'm not sure

 

loot bonus doesnt directly increase the chances of you to get a mythic, it only boosts the amount of loot you get from mobs

i think frozen heights would be a good place to grind mythics because of the high spawn rate, but imo grinding for mythics is a waste of time, since loot running is way better

 

I will warn you right now that grinding for "mythics" is ineffective and has a very low chance to spawn even when wearing loot bonus armor. If you are truly wanting to attempt to grind for one, look for an area housing high level mobs (as those are the ones that drop the highest range of "mythics").

Freezing Heights is decent since the level of the mobs revolve around lv90-95. Demon Cave has higher level mobs, but are much stronger and better off killing with other people. There is also the Turtle Spring in Corkus behind the Avos Temple from Envoy Part 2 that has a ton of lv95 Turtle and Robot mobs. This spot can be farmed from above, but it is dangerous if you are going down to get the drops.

Just remember this when grinding: You don't find "mythics", "mythics" find you.

 

ive been grinding at the spring in corkus for some time and i guess it can do since it drops 92-96-100 drops. is there any difference in drop rates between mobs? would these turtles drop items less often the mobs in the freezing heights?

grinding there for xp from lvl 90-95 (currently im 94 so i guess i could just switch armor and level slower but with more legendarys and possible mythics making it worth that wait (25% loot -> 200% loot, 190% xp -> 45% xp)

 

Since the turtles are lv95, the range will center at 96 and will also have one range higher and lower drops as well. So, the turtles will drop items with level ranges around 92-100.

However, most of the mobs in Freezing Heights are lv90-92 (with the exception of the uncommon lv95 "Antipode" mobs), so the range will center at 92 and will be in entirety 88-96.

Considering most "mythics" are above level 90, you'd probably be better off grinding the Turtle Spring than Freezing Heights since the Turtles drop items within a majority of the "mythic's" level ranges.

 

I'm not really too high leveled yet ( only lvl 76), but I can tell you that mythics can be gotten anywhere but are incredibly rare. My friend got an Az mythic bow for ToL, surprisingly, and although I have several active friends, none of the others have gotten a mythic, even though they are close to level 95 already.

 

its a 7/1.000.000 chance (1/142k) with my loot bonus its still 1/48000 droprate so yes its very rare
i havnt even killed 25k mobs in my total wynn playtime
