Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yeah, that's her!" April says happily.


Alice feels the connection change to one with Sgavrinn.

 

"Shoot... I scared her off."


She gives the directions before dropping the link.


"Hey, April? He's en route. Can you grab your friends and head to my yard please?"

 

"Sure." April says, heading back to town.

 

Alice also heads back to her house.

 

April eventually shows up at Alice's house with the blond haired teenager.

"Sebastian said he couldn't make it because he was in the middle of one of his games." April says.

 

"That's fine, he'll be out soon when he sees what the pet is." Alice says, a green figure flying towards the group in the distance.

 

April squints, trying to make out the green figure.

 

Crystal smiles and thinks for a bit before making dolphin noises, facing downwards.

 

At first it looks like a bird, but it keeps getting bigger and closer...

Alice blocks April's view with her parasol.
"Close your eyes, it'll be a nice surprise."

 

Both teenagers cover their eyes.

 

A few peek up at him, but they keep swimming along.

"Okay... open." Alice says happily, Sgavrinn humming.

 

April jumps in surprise, looking a little scared.

"Whoa." The blond haired teenager says, shocked.

 

Happy, Crystal relaxes for the ride.

 

"His name is Sgavrinn, and I thought maybe you'd be good candidates for friends."
Sgavrinn slowly crawls towards April, sniffing at her nervously as Alice scratches his back.

Four hours later, Linoa stirs... but there's still a ways to go.
"This thing could afford to go faster." She complains.

 

"U-Uuh..." April says, backing away slightly, scared.

 

"He's fine, don't worry."
Sgavrinn retreats, letting out a whine as he lays down on the ground beside Alice.
"Oh, come on. These people haven't seen a dragon before." She reassures him. "You're fine."

 

"A-Are you sure?" April asks, still scared.

 

"He hasn't harmed a soul." Alice reassures, Sgavrinn seeming equal parts worried and confused.

 

April nervously extends a hand toward Sgavrinn.

 

He sniffs at it, breathing uneasily.
