"Isn't the answer always magic?"

 

The scroll just lies there, unmoving.

 

"I guess so."
Crystal shrugs.

 

Alice continues waiting, watching the spirit plane and the physical plane for anything inside the community center.

Linoa drifts off, Muffy not seeming to actually do anything.
Worst case scenario, you're on an autopilot staff and fall into the water.

 

Crystal looks towards Muffy, curious.
"Hey."
He says, softly.

 

There's a few fairies about near the hut, though not much else. Alice can see a few souls outside walking about, one of them sitting down.

 

Muffy glances at you before letting off her signature "Mrow" and begins cleaning herself.

Alice checks to see if she can identify the souls before trying to approach a faerie.

 

One of the souls is recognisably April's, who seems to be heading past the community centre.

The faerie seems to be able to notice, flying away and disappearing.

 

Alice leaves a note with a peace symbol before retreating, reforming as she leaves and tries to catch up with April.
"April?" Alice calls after her.

 

Crystal shifts off the staff a bit, looking around and below.

 

April stops near the house in the more mountainous area, turning around. She seems to have a flute in her hand.

 

It's ocean as far as he can see, a few dolphins jumping about below.

Alice goes to catch up.
"Oh, I guess you're busy. Sorry, I was going to offer you and your friends something, but it can wait. Can you come to my house later today?" She asks.

 

"I'm not that busy. What were you going to offer us?" April asks, intrigued, giving a sweet smile.

 

"Oh, I was going to try and arrange a meeting with the pet of another friend. I think he'll get along just fine with your group." Alice says.

"Hey, Artemis?" Alice asks telepathically. "Can I borrow Sgavrinn for a few days?"

 

"That sounds nice! What type of pet is he?" April asks.


"Um, sure. What do you need him for?" Artemis asks, curious.

 

"He was a gift to a guardian friend." Alice says.


"I moved into a town where a lot of suspicious things are happening. A group of people miss riding what used to be a tram car that went over the mountains, and I figure a dragon ride's the best I can offer them until I figure out the source of all these problems."

 

"Oh, really? We have a guardian here too, her name's Holly. I don't know if you've met her; I haven't seen much of her recently, actually." April says, smiling.


"That's fine then." Artemis says happily.

 

"Is she a water guardian?" Alice asks, suspicious.


"Thanks! Do I need to come over for him, or is he good to fly himself over? I can supply directions."

 

"Sort of, she said she's a hybrid. Her mother was a water guardian, while her father was a forest guardian." April says, thinking.


"I think he's smart enough to fly himself to wherever you are." Artemis says.

 

"Does she wear fishscale armor and have a fishing spear?"


"Alright, can you link me to him for a minute, please?" Alice asks.
