Is There Any Thing I Can Do With These Buttons And Pressure Plates In Pirate Bay?

The pressure plate is in front of the left of the pot on the floor. There's also a button in the shadow.I'm too dizy and don't have much time to test stuffs. One of them actives some pistons that reveal a hidden melon block?. It's probably just a decoration that I rarely see, but what does the button resemble?
