Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"He never talks to me
Just sends me off with groups and expects me to get things done"

 

"I mean you probably know how he works better
He didnt pick you up from the underworld so why would he care now"

 

"Well, you just need to sign this form to officially leave." Shadow Stephanie says, raising her voice slightly so Alice can still hear her.

 

Alice returns, looking at the paper for any details and fine print.
"Sounds good. Though, can you ask the detective agency to remove me from the employee list again? I asked them to do it so my sisters wouldn't drag me into their war."
Pause.
"Also, if it matters, I've got another question for you while you're here."

"I dunno
Maybe the tracker should be removed
But then hell kill me if he finds me again"

 

"How about this
Well leave you in some field for a while
Then I can come get you if he doesnt"

 

"What is it?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

The papers just seem to be confirming that Alice agrees that she no longer needs the house or the close guard around her, and that she's found a new place to live.

 

Alice looks closer to check for absolutely anything deviating from those lines.

She summons the note she copied.
"Do you recognize this writing?"

Let me know when we get there"

 

There's no fine print or hidden agreements, everything visible is all that's stated.

Shadow Stephanie look at the note.

"No...I haven't seen anything like that before." Shadow Stephanie admits.

 

"I will
But it may take a while before we get going
I have a few barren fields to choose from"

 

Alice signs.

"I know you're my queen, but... would you mind checking if any of your researchers recognize it? I think it may be related to something troubling this town."

"Preferably one with nearby food sources"

 

"Do you actually eat things"

 

"Sure, I'll have them look into it." Shadow Stephanie says, taking the papers back and de-summoning them.

 

"Yes I do"

Alice duplicates the note, handing it to Shadow Stephanie.
"Thanks. And, I'm sorry about my shady ways. I know it doesn't mean much, but since you wailed on Amber I've been trying to change my ways."

 

"Hows that work"

 

"Rip it up and stuff it down my throat"

 

"Fair enough"
I then seem to think for a bit.
"Lets search around a bit
I cant think of anything off of the top of my head"

 

"It's nice you can reflect on yourself and change." Shadow Stephanie says happily, taking the note.

 

"Well, I'm just glad you accidentally gave me the chance."

"How about you search I stay"

 

Shadow Stephanie shrugs, getting up to look out the back.

 

"Alright
I figured it might be easier to let you be somewhere if I find it right then
But okay"
I release Amethyst's hand.
