Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

They make an intentionally wide swing at you.

 

"Artemis has taught me that all tea generally doesn't taste gross." Shadow Stephanie says, accepting her cup of tea and sipping it.

 

I teleport up into the air, loosing an arrow towards the draconian.

 

I fly off past in the other direction of the forest, seeing what there is beyond Rath'haga.

 

It seems to be a cherry tea, Alice following suit.
"We all have different preferences." She says. "You'll have to take a look from the back porch sometime before you go. I suppose you've got access to the best of the best, but the view's still killer."

More arc lightning causes the arrow to explode before it gets very far.

A cliff, and the barren lowland plains.

 

"The same views can get tiresome over centuries." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling as she sips her tea.

 

I keep flying beyond that.

 

"I guess I'll need to wait a few, then." Alice chuckles as she does the same. "Sorry to bother you, though. I really didn't intend on you bringing the paperwork over personally."

They... just go on. You fly for an hour without seeing anything else.

 

"It's fine, I wanted to see how your new place was anyway." Shadow Stephanie says, looking around.

 

I turn around, heading back to the portal.

 

"I like the view, and the neighbors don't seem to mind the fact I'm a shadow." Alice says.

Again, the house hasn't been touched. Alice's furniture looks a little out of place due to its dark colors, but other than that the house is pretty much as Alice bought it.

Once you're back in the Void Palace, the lab seems to have seated Amethyst outside the door.

 

I walk up to her, lightly grabbing her hand.

 

She pulls back a bit at first before calming down.

 

"I guess we haven't really been here, so they wouldn't have a reason to fear you." Shadow Stephanie says, drinking the rest of her tea.

 

"Hey"
I trace on her arm.
"Are you feeling better"

 

"In my opinion, that's not a bad thing." Alice says, offering to take Shadow Stephanie's cup.

"Yeah I am"

 

"Well thats good
So how should we get you back to the Hive Master"

 

"I'm glad to see you're happy here though." Shadow Stephanie says, handing Alice her cup and summoning a few papers in her other hand.

 

"Thanks. I'm glad to be out of your hair. I know your entire group's getting sick of me." She admits, heading back into the kitchen. "Figure I wanted to retire anyways. I like the Realm of Shadows, but like you said, after millennia, the same view gets a bit old."

"I dunno
Leave me in a field somewhere maybe"
