Usually in mafia games I lynch people who say this as a day starts, especially when Im town to find that they're mafia

 

Three nights in, and nobody seemed to be dying. Nobody died a night or two ago, nobody died yesterday...Things seemed to be calming down a bit. But probably not.

Shortly before sunrise, a distant sound came within earshot. Part of it was cloth-like in a sense, and the other part was a clinking of metals. It seemed to be coming from the northern sky. From here, it sounded like nothing more than a group of chain-clad zombies wandering near the city walls.

A minute later, someone identified the source of the sound: an airship was approaching! After being trapped in a mafia-infested city for three days, the thought of help arriving could be described as intensely invigorating.

We crowded the streets, waiting eagerly for the ship to show itself and help us out of the city. Slowly but surely, it passed over the wall. Its deck was slightly above-average in size; it seemed more than large enough to fit a dozen of us comfortably and carry us out of the city, and that was only per-trip. We could be out of the city in minutes!

The ship glided towards the airbase on the other side of the city, followed by an eager crowd far below on the streets. We stormed up the stairs to the airbase’s platform, and crowded around the landing site.

It was landing in slow motion, it seemed. Every turn of its back propeller lasted long enough that it felt like a trip to the bank could be made before it could rotate once. By the time it was tethered to the platform, we must have aged a month.

Immediately, four people - Ezohn, captainrex534, Poiu429, and Lunes8123 - broke into a run and climbed onto the ship before anyone else could react. When the rest of us attempted to get on too, the pilot blocked us while a passenger tried to tell the four who boarded to get off. The pilot succeeded; the passenger didn’t.

The passenger’s name is RandomAdventurer. RandomAdventurer stepped off the ship and observed the crowd.

“Hey, everyone here!” the pilot said. “I don’t know why the lot of you are crowded around this ship, but in this case I’d like to introduce you to a visitor, RandomAdventurer, who’s going to be staying here for a while. Now if you don’t mind, I’m supposed to fly to Maltic by noon-”

“For what?” a voice in the back of the crowd asked.

“There’s a witch that moved into the well recently, so a family there hired me for a private flight to Llevigar while they wait for the witch to leave.”

The air was immediately flooded with “I can do it! I can kill the witch!”

We really wanted to get out of Detlas at that point.

The pilot considered it for a minute. “If you want to...I’ll let one person come with me to Maltic - but one only. If you kill the witch, that’s great. If you don’t, I’m not paying for any more of your flights. But if you want to go, then do it quickly ‘cause I’m not lingering here for a minute longer than I have to.”

With that, the airship flew away, taking five people with it, but leaving RandomAdventurer behind.

We all returned to our business, but that didn’t last long. An odd-sounding scream came from somewhere in the city, and we quickly went to the source of the noise. Someone was lying on the ground, twitching madly - it was IceBear.

Goal: Give mushrooms to at least 10 different players, and then be lynched.
The M-Mushroom Man h-himself. What more n-needs to be said?

Every phase, you can conjure one mushroom and give it to a player.
You are unable to take more than ten damage from non-lynches in one phase.
Despite having no alignment, you will always return as Mafia when checked.
When a check is performed on you or a clue is found regarding you, parts of the information may randomly mix in with that of another player, making the information less reliable.
Hailing from your...creepy nature, you may watch a player every night, revealing the next morning all actions the player made but not the target of said actions.

RandomAdventurer has replaced Ezohn!

A chance is being offered to temporarily leave the city! The first player to take the offer will exit Detlas for Day/Night 4, essentially being removed from the game during that time, and will return on Day 5!
While the player is gone, they cannot communicate with other players, use role abilities, visit locations, or purchase items, but they cannot be harmed during that time (except for lingering status effects).​

It is now Day 4!
Vote for a player with Vote: Player. Whoever has the most votes (if anyone) at the end of the phase will be lynched.
This phase will end on Saturday, July 15th, 2017, at 17:00 EST
Day 4 messages should be sent out soon.

But if a "guard" got modkilled then one of their roles could be "mercenary(Town)" (Which would be a mercenary hired by the town)

I defended you when people were shitting on players for giving no reason for lynching and this is what you do next? I didn't attack you, and I'm not the mafia. All I have done this game was vote for people other people have voted for, like everyone else!

What do you mean the towns wincon? I've never heard of that term before. Anyways, what "fishy" things have I said? I simply voted for the person with the most votes like others who did, no difference.

If you were actually town, you would have read your role PM and probably figured out what a wincon is.
There is 9001x difference, voting for the person with the most votes is stupid, and mafia-like.

 

Funny how you say that while you still haven't questioned cybersoap at all even when he flat out refused to give his. Don't you all think that's kinda fishy, especially after Cyber voted to lynch me? I think I clarified myself through these posts already, yet you still think it's "scummy" even though Pokextreme and WithTheFish voted for uber too. I've been through many mafia games before, this is how people play, whether or not you agree. Fullproof no, but I've repeatedly asked for reasons or evidence not too lynch uber, and yet nobody gave me any. If only the mafia played by this strategy, he/she wouldn't change their vote if their was evidence that the person being lynched wasn't the mafia in order to guarantee a person being lynched no matter the cost.

I'm not going to vote for Cyber or General now, but if you don't clarify this I'm not going to have a choice. Btw, I did read my PM role, and nowhere did it mention the word wincon and I politely asked for what it meant, that's all. I know this isn't the regular forums and it's mafia, but there's no need to attack people like that when they simply ask a question like that.

 

A wincon is a win condition and different roles have different wincons, eg Icebears wincon was to give 10 people a mushroom and then get lynched, and a townies would be to kill all of the mafia
