Minecraft Story Mode Season 2

It came out yesterday, that's cool and all
I obviously won't buy the game because I'm poor and I don't feel like it's worth it, but I always watch multiple LPs and I like it!

What are your thoughts on the beginning of this season so far? I like what they're doing so far, it looks really cool, and they did a great job with the soundtrack again
I know some people are gonna shout "cAShgrAb!!11!1" but eh, I enjoy watching this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Tbh Minecraft Story Mode is shat on much too often, yeah it's no masterpiece, but It's not fucking awful either. It's decent, and can admittedly be a little fun to watch, mostly just to pass the time. I guess you could say it sort of brings that same atmosphere adventure maps used to have back in 2011-2012, for me at least.

 

yeah well of course it's not a masterpiece, but i always enjoy what they do and how they use the minecraft universe to create their story, as well as how they try to make some of the soundtrack feel "minecraft-y"

 

Personally the game is great, but i hate the whole season pass idea because season 1 was split into two passes meaning i had to watch people play it
and to be honest, the only people who lets played are kids or people like dantdm

 

I watched Captain Sparklez at first, he's pretty chill and I like him :p
there's also some great french youtubers because, well, i'm french

 

It's cool cuz Cthulhu statues.
But sadly it's a bit of a steal, but it fades away compared to the minecraft PE store.

 

It's okay, I suppose. Although as said above, it really kind of pales compared to what Mojang's doing with their PE/Console Marketplace thing and continuing to keep their weird-ass EULA.
But the fact that this and the Marketplace came out so close together (Even though I expect Telltale was itself a major deciding factor in this) makes me start to feel a bit worried about Mojang's turn towards half-baked content that gets them cash.

I will admit, season 2 was a bit less cringe then the first one.

 

Putting it like that, it sure seems "cringy" and useless drama for sure, but it's always sad to see your pet die, and if you watched episode 1-4, you became quite fond of the pig!
But what really sucked is that they wanted the pig to die to create some drama around it and all, because no matter what you do he'll always end up dying
