Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yes, there's a few places I've found." The guard says.

 

"Did you pick up the pamphlets for them?"

 

"They're on your table." The guard says.

 

"Thanks."
Alice checks to see how many there are, then looks more closely at the pamphlet on top.

 

There are only four, spread out on the table.

The first pamphlet Alice notices is one for a home in the country, land included for farming.

 

She sets it aside and looks at the other three.

 

There are pamphlets for a city home in an apartment block, a home in a suburban town and a house in a mountain range with some supposedly peaceful earth guardians and a river running through.

 

"Thanks. I'll go check these out." Alice says, taking the pamphlets and heading towards the portal room.

 

The portal remains dormant, the console awaiting command.

 

Alice enters the coordinates for the house in the mountains.

 

The portal opens up, and a cool breeze blows through from a mountaintop house.

 

"Alright, thanks. Tell him that I've got someone with me."
I say, then trace on Amethyst.
"Someone should be coming very soon"

 

She steps through, looking to see if it's an open house or if she needs to arrange something with a guardian.

"He's working on a portal. I don't sense anyone near you, though."


"I notice you didnt deactivate so thats good"

 

The "For Sale" sign out front makes it seem like an arrangement may be necessary.

The house is of extremely high quality, looking like even a strong earthquake couldn't shake it from it's foundations, or at all. A stream appears to be running into and through the house, coming out the other end of it and leading Alice's gaze to the beautiful view over the mountains, valleys and rivers below.

 

Alice checks the sign and the pamphlet for any contact information.

 

There's a telephone and email on the back of the pamphlet, both for the agency selling it and the guardian. The sign simply has the agency number.

 

Alice teleports back home and dials the agency.

 

"This is Guardian's Housing, how may I help you?" A woman on the other side of the line asks.

 

"Hello, I picked up a pamphlet for the mountaintop house at (coordinates) and was wondering if there were any other offers on it already."

 

"Hold on just a moment please," The woman says, the sound of a keyboard being typed on able to faintly be heard, "Oh, yes, we've had another person put forward an offer for it. You can put forward your own offer if you'd like though."
