I go back to the forest, landing softly near Amethyst once more.

 

She sits up as you do.
"We still in the clear"

 

"For taking you out of here if someone comes? Yeah"
I trace on her arm, responding.

 

"Not quite what I meant but okay
Any signs of you getting pulled out of here"

 

"Nope
Not yet"

 

"You think theyll be much longer"

 

"Sure. If I've learnt anything from Myria, the future is far from certain." I say, smiling.

 

"It depends on how long it takes someone to realize I havent been seen anywhere recently
Which spans anywhere from now to an indefinite amount of time
So I really have no idea"

 

She nods, feeding blood into her crystal ball. However, this time she opts not to show you what she sees. After a moment, she seems cross.

"...I think it's best you don't inquire about this reading."

Must be boring stuck down here with me"

 

"What is it? Does something happen with Artemis and I?" I ask.

 

"I was luckily made with a surprisingly long patience
Even if I got bored I could deactivate myself
But I dont want to do that"

 

"Only you... but... do you really want to look?"
Pause.
"...at your own demise?"

"Wouldnt you then need someone to reactivate you"

 

"One of my possible deaths," I say, "Not counting revival."

"Sure." I say after a moment, shrugging.

 

"Its a simple matter of creating enough pressure to trigger a check on my generators to see if theyre operating or not
If theyre not operating theyll restart which will get me running again
I wasnt built for combat so this was created as more of a failsafe just in case something caused me to stop working"

 

She holds the crystal ball up to you.

In it, you can see... something giving you a hug, running you through with Shadow Katana as you struggle to escape.
It then appears... Vei? eviscerates your shadow crystal afterwards.


"Needless to say, I suggest you avoid it. Somehow."

"So like
Someone could just stand you up and youd work again"

 

"That's impossible, only I can wield Shadow Katana," I say, "If anyone else tries to use it, they'll just kill thenselves with it. Don't ask why."

 

"Exactly what I thought." Ragnyon says. "Still, if I can see it, then it's somehow a possibility."

 

"If someone could even lift me up the pure pressure of them lifting and pushing most likely on my torso would cause me to work again
But the easier way would just be to push on my torso"

 

"If Tenebrae decided to give Shadow Katana to someone else sure." I say, shrugging.
