Any Class What Do You Guys Think About Water+air Build?

I think it's not great, since the ability to use more spell provided from water stats will prevent us from using normal attack (we will be casting spells most of the time that we barely able to use normal attack) frequently which is required to utilize the pros from air build which is fast attack speed. Other than that, since we are already able to use spell frequently, we can compensate/copy the pros given from air such us high mobility and evasion because of the fast/quick travel spell (except assasin, maybe) for the speed and evasion or other utility spell to replace the evasion given from air stats.

Edit: I also think it's good(maybe even great after reading the replies) since I've been utilizing it for all of my current (actually one year ago) active charracters, but I use this thread as a way of asking solutions for the current cons (that's what I thought) that I'm lacking of information/oudated.

It's a very good combo imo. You have very good damage or spammability with your spells, and can move around a ton, meaning if you are spell spam, you can do that without getting hit. Same goes for damaging.

 

I'm using a Water Air mage, and it's level 88, and it has been literally NOTHING BUT GOOD the entire time I have been using it. I use normal attacks a LOT as well as dealing great damage to enemies with spells.

I was able to get about, 7k - 8k WATER damage with a METEOR with just an Ethereal, and using that same Ethereal, I soloed Death (Not uber impressive, Ik, but still) with mainly only using normal attacks, aside from healing.

Along with that, Water air can create a really fun build type. You can spam spells, as well as be able to move quickly with the movement speed from Agility. If you find it to not be good, then that's because it's not your playstyle, and if that's the case, then go find a build you are good with, and use that.

In other words, you either just have to use the right weapons or you have to know when using spells is needed vs when it's not, or you should try a different build xP

Water+air archer is the only way I can use archer in this game. Yes, I wish there was more diversity, but that's the current meta.

 

What're you talking about? Spell multiply from the dps essentially, which seems balanced basically. I've never seen faster spell cast other than my macro.

I'm outdated about these stuffs, tell me more.

 

I think I'm just a bit overwhelmed since I thought that spell damage is calculated from weapon's base damage alone and not DPS, and because of that I'm used to slow attack speed bow for long time before reading a random thread reply(when Gavel comes out[it's probably still like that, now], there're a lot of unclear/unknown information about the build and I don't play constantly enough to discover them efficiently).

I use it for my archer too, but I also use lightning because I think otherwise I will be lacking in damage. While the water to help to survive since evasion isn't a reliable defense (it's common for the charracter build in other MMORPG game that I play to ignore the weakness of the classes use something else to compensate it, in this case with Archer's 60% defense and the only other option of survivability in stats points which is evasion that's complemented by

I do 1-2k melee and 10k uppercuts with my hero build and have 8/4 mana regen and over 110 agil, and 65 Intel

 

xD 10-k uppers i do 10k FIRST HIT on my tide tank build :P
anyways i mean you can abuse air/water but its fun and really strong. id say its strongest on mage and archer but really works for all classes if you can make it right id say the best weapons for each class are
assassin: weathered, ivory, slider
mage: etheral, lunar spine, morrowind
archer: torrental tide, return to ether, infused hive
Warrior: hero, tidebinder, sheetice (melee abuse :))
