She doesn't respond, still trembling.

 

"Hey, there's no reason to be scared of me. We're friends, remember?" I say, kneeling down.

 

That still doesn't merit a verbal response.

 

I give Ragnyon a hug.

 

She hugs you back, still trembling.
"W-why does m-my heart have t-to be needed..."

 

"I have a way around it, but it's completely optional and we can find an alternative if you don't want to do it." I say.

 

"I-I'm clearly interested..."

 

"A heart transplant. We take out your heart, put in a new one and make sure it works, and you can go on living as normal." I say.

 

"That sounds like it'd be a problem, still. If there was old blood in the new heart, I'd lose my foresight."

 

"The heart would be clean. I was hoping we could try and clone your current one to avoid complications." I say.

 

"S-sure... I mean, my other choice is death, s-so..."

 

"Let's get going, I don't trust this place." I say, getting up and offering Ragnyon a hand.

 

She takes it.
"I thought it would be a good hiding spot, in the ruins of a pacifist nation."

 

"It was, though I have my ways of finding people." I say before teleporting Ragnyon and I to the Shadow Realm.

 

"Frankly it makes this a lot easier on me"

 

She stands herself up, weary.
"It won't hurt... will it?"
