Mage/Dark Wizard Help Tank Mage/spell Dmg Mage

I'm looking for a perfect build for a mage, I'm currently lv 97 but the items can be level 100 too..
Currently, I'm dying way too fast. I'm using the cosmic set for EVERYTHING cause its set bonus gives me more elemental defense in everything than every other item I equipped..

Some decent spell dmg for meteor or just a tank mage who can help with everything would be really nice (although I also need some good dmg on the tank one.. still gotta do some quests.)
k, so I'm damn poor - 1 stack of LE in my bank.. -> can't really buy items on the trade market or reroll the items I currently have - but if you like making class builds please just contribute yours here. And maybe also the advantages and disadvantages of your build!

At least 8k meteor. Almost 12k with dex. You have to finish the hive 2 times for this build tho.
Adjust your skill points according to the ids on your armor. Must have 129 on int and 33 on dex. Put the rest of them to agility.

 

Why Stave of the Legends? That's like level 70.

cascade is better in damage as well as ids, possibly
very fast attack speed means it's doing more damage with spells too

if you want a real option for rainbow/neutral just use the infused hive wand

 

if you have good defenses on your armor the extra +15 in every stat wouldn't matter anyways

then why use a rainbow weapon in the first place

 

is it illegal to have the best of both worlds
do you think that using an inferior weapon even though its main upside (defense) is minuscule compared to what cascade can offer

tank + damage = ez
tank + a bit more tank but way less damage = not as good

 

If you can't kill the mobs, you're eventually gonna die to them.

For example, let's say you're fighting Orange Wybel. Staff's damage doesn't do nearly enough to touch it, while Cascade can be used to solo it. Whereas with Staff you still take damage from it, so you lose to it with Staff.

Ok so this build gets you 13k health and the meteors do around 10k and melee 400-900 (ik many ppl hate judas but i think its pretty good in this build)

yeah i mean cool you can do 12k bomb arrows on average but your lack of mana regen/shitty defenses doesn't make this a tank at all
in general this is a shitty thunder build too

 

it's a glass build but it isn't even a good version of that
