Archer/Hunter Spell Spam Build

Hi everyone, Im here to introduce you my build and take your opinions to make it even better. Lets get started.

First of all the primary bow, If you are rich
[98]Spring I dont even need to explain this tho but like obviously high water damage and some of that MANA REGEN, also who doesnt like some extra int
If you are not so good with emeralds
[96]Ensa's Resolve Try to get one with 2/4s because obviously MANA REGEN is the main thing about this build. It does a good amount of water damage and also your build supports this. But also a pretty good air damage.

If you dont have Spring you need a secondary bow agains the water defence because Ensa's has 10-10 neutral. You have few options for this.
[100]Infused Hive Bow
[99]Cluster
[75]Bob's Mythic Bow
There are a more options but these are most common ones.

As the helmet
[88]Third Eye Try to get one with 5+ int and 4/4s of MANA REGEN. Intellegence bonus is especially important if you are using Spring because of the 120 int requirment.

For chestplate
[95]Aquarius This is the key item of this build. You should get 6/4s or 7/4s MANA REGEN with more than 15% Spell Damage or it would be basically useless. It also requires 110 int so Third Eye is pretty important.

You have two options for the leggings
[99]Vaward for the skill points and for the good spell damage bonus. You need this extra int in order to use the chestplate(not really) and for the Spring. Also its kind of an tanky item which makes you feel safer but still get ohkod... The bad thing about this that It doesnt have any MANA REGEN and its pretty high leveled.
You can also use
[93]Dark Channeler for the MANA REGEN, some spell damage (raw is pretty useless for you) and if you are lower than 99. Bad thing about is this that it kills your elemental defences.

The last key piece, the boots
[92]Memento I dont think I need the mention but its for the MANA REGEN. You should get a 4/4s one. Also If you can get some spell damage it would be pretty nice.

For the accessories its pretty messy
[8]Concentration I dont really recommend it because of the negative spell damage but its an option.
[69]Raindrop It has lower negative spell damage than Concentration. If you are using Spring this is a must(or look at the Gouttes). I still wouldnt recommend using two of this.
[38]Gouttes If you have 20/4s without rings(with weapon equipped) you can get two of these and also It will help using Spring.
[83]Squid Anklet Only thing bad about this is the negative thunder defence but you Wynaut(hehe)
[42]Willpower It supports your build with health regen and of course with the MANA REGEN.

Raw Skill Points:
Str 0(15 if you are using Spring)
Dex 0
Int 100
Def 0
Agi 100(85 if you are using Spring)

Welp thats all. Accessories are like I said a complete mess but you can spam like 8 Arrow Bombs in a row and another 8 after like 4 seconds(if you keep spamming it takes like 14 mana). You cant really solo Qira with this build or something but its a pretty good party build. You can deal a lot of damage behind a tank. I believe that this is what an archer meant to be. You deal like min 4k Arrow Bombs-Arrow Shield with Ensa's Resolve. It goes up to 8k. Also like 8k Arrow Storms. Unfortunately I havent tested it out with Spring because I dont have one ;-; Actually a 4/4s Spring can mess this build completely and you can get a lot of better things instead of some items but I primarely made this build for Ensa's Resolve.

Have you any clue about how overused this build is? (Eh at least it isn't the Rainbow Tank Mythic-Slap On)

 

Its not that overused for the archers actually, people generally go for Torrential Tide and raw spell damage. This is different from that. Its one of the best non-mythic required Archer builds in the game right now. The closest glass cannon you can get is a Gale's Force build(again without a mythic). Which deals 5k Arrow Bombs and you can use them like 4 times in a row.

 

Nobody goes Torrential Tide. Why? Because Archer has a high base damage but low spell % multiplier, meaning that Raw Spell doesn't give good damage as it is reliant on spell multiplier.

People do use spellspam on Archer btw. Not to mention that this build has an overload of mana, which makes it have too low damage, as no pieces are dedicated towards actual damage. Not to mention your defenses are pretty bad actually.

Gale's Force builds definitely do far more damage than this.

 

You have too much mana regen with this build - in general you probably don't need more than 12 if you have 68 mana regen and if you have 129 mana regen you don't need more than 10/4

 

Thats "in general" If you have 20/4s It will reload your whole bar every second. This build has max 22/4s or something without weapon equipped. You can change some accesories for spell damage or etc. Thats basically why I posted this thread. If you have a better replacements I want you to say them to me.

 

All I see is mana regen. Do I need new glasses?

 

Why 20/4, when you literally won't lose more mana than you need with much smaller amounts?

 

Its about your combat style. The point of this build is the spam as much of spells as possible. If you are in a bad shape you need to spell them a lot faster and everytime it requires more mana to cast a spell. Thats where the 20/4s helps you basically

 

You can still spam with less even at that rate.

 

You have to sit back and wait for your mana to refill

 

You really don't as your spells cost so little with high Int. By the time your mana is diminshed, you literally are refilled.

 

Gale's Force builds can do more but not in a bigger picture. In a fight you spam few spells and you are left with melee attacks. I cant disagree with you about being a overload of mana but that doesnt make it have low damage, the thing about it is spamming obivously, and simply think about doing 6k multiplied by 8 in two seconds, 42k damage. You are right by saying the defences are bad but as a glass cannon this is what it is meant to be

8th Arrow Bomb costs 8 mana and after that you get refilled. 9th Arrow Bomb costs 9 mana and the 10th costs 10 so you got 19 mana flying by. You gotta stop there and wait for 3 seconds. After that again the 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 then refil and 9-10. Thats the point.

 

What I'm saying is that you could keep up that spammability while having higher damage boosts and better element defenses.

Gale's Force builds do build spammability high enough, but also build their damage.

You don't continue spamming the same spell in spellspam. You quickly alternate while keeping up the spamming. Alternating spells resets it back down to normal.

It doesnt. After 5 Arrow Bombs Escape costs 5 mana and you wait for your mana to refill. It is about the time spell cost reset as far as my testings go

Can you give me a replacement for Anima and Diamond Hydro Necklace

 

Royal Stormy Amulet, but its only temporary.

Anima is very unique and doesn't have any real replacement, due to its defenses and damage. You'd have to switch the build around and center it on Cumulonimbus for it to be replaced.
