With some recent changes to some items, it's pretty much inevitable at this point that Morph-Stardust is going to get nerfed soon™, and instead of being a whiny little bitch about it, I will simply search for alternatives.

Here's the thing, Boreal's increase in skill point requirements really didn't affect my build all that much, all I had to do was sacrifice 1 skill point from Intelligence (100==>99) and let Stardust do the rest of the dirty work, which is why if I don't search for an alternative, my build will be fucked.

I was thinking of Blue Mask being the best alternative, however, it's low HP is unappealing, it would feel like a detriment more than anything. I made my build to be a pure Water Warrior with a bit of elemental tankiness, and it's worked wonders for me, with Spell damage% and Water damage being the primary IDs, don't forget mana regen. (Before you argue and tell me that "it's just another rainbow tank build!", only 2 of the items in this build are actual rainbow tank items, Diamond Fusion Ring is more offense oriented)

Keep in mind, I still want at least most of the items in my build to stay the same, fortunately, my build is actually a little unfinished still in terms of items I want, so I could use that to take advantage of other items, mainly accessories?
And now, I reveal my build to the world, or something:

Morph-Stardust (Planning to replace with ????)
    Boreal-Patterned Chestplate
    Water Sanctuary
    Paradox

    Facile
(Planning to replace with Diamond Fusion Ring, may not be possible now due to recent changes)
    Intensity
    Prognosticum
(Planning to replace with Diamond Hydro Bracelet?)
    Diamond Hydro Necklace

    Tidebinder

(And if you suggest a ring, please do anything other than Prism, also, Summa probably won't work because negative water damage)

Thing is, Diamond Hydro Bracelet does what Tidal and Prognosticum do, but better.
Of course, this won't solve my situation with Morph-Stardust's inevitable nerf. I was honestly considering Prowess/Diamond Fusion Necklace for skill points.

Shit didn't realize Prognosticum got an Int buff.
    ________________________________
Nvm. I chose Tidal because it's bonus sp doesn't require 100 Int, so it allows you to get Int to reach that 100.

Thing is, apologies for forgetting to mention this, but I also want to have a high amount of Intelligence for more Water Damage and lower cost on spells, and I already have plenty of Intelligence, so it really doesn't matter if Tidal requires less Intelligence.

I think I've come up with a potential solution, arrange skill points as:

    15 35 100 15 35

Then get Prowess, pushing the skill points to just enough to use Boreal, Paradox, and Diamond Fusion Ring(?), however, I would need to be 101 to have 200 skill points, so I would have to leave Intelligence at 98 for now, but then I still need a helmet to replace Stardust that would still benefit this build...

Prowess would boost it to 103, Water Sanctuary would boost it to 108, Diamond Hydro Necklace would boost it to 120, my Tidebinder would boost it to 129 when held, it would just be at 98 without items.

Still wondering what Helmet would benefit this build the most, is Third Eye a potential choice? I'm not really interested in the raw spell damage, I'm more interested in the other IDs, like Intelligence, which, if I were to get max Intelligence, would boost the total to 139, it's not max reduction, but it's close.

Shimmersight (I think?) has +6 rainbow SP as well as 3/4 mana, you may want to consider that.

Oh wow, you're right, mana regen, good HP, no skill point requirements, and those skill points. Looks like I don't need to do Hive a 4th time after all!

Though, I'm going to need a godly one with 5-6 skill points, and 2/4s mana regen or higher in order for my build to work... I guess money talks.

I've already come up with a solution, and that is to simply replace Morph-Stardust with Shimmersight.

seems easy enough, you should buy one soon though cause as soon as hive gets nerfed the price will go up

I think Morph Stardust will take up most of the price increase, until it gets nerfed anyway.

He's using Shimmersight. If the tank meta uses something, that doesn't mean it falls under it. Boreal-Patterned Aegis is its own thing.

    Paradox is debatable.

Morph-Stardust is so good there is basically no reason not to use it, at least in it's current state.

Hive was sort of the same thing, but it's a little more balanced, not even counting the recent changes to it.

Paradox is the same case as Diamond Fusion Ring, it's more offense based, you can't be a true Rainbow tank item if you have a bit of negative Elemental defense.

Hmm, my build seems to be getting more attention than expected, I'll have to take drastic measures, without using the nukes of course.
