Rat 3 attacks @A_total_noob but pulls a NAT 1 so falls prone

Erevan: "Guys, I heard something big down the tunnels, I'm going to investigate."

I move towards the sound I heard (see map).

There are still non-giant rat monsters you could use. Wererats, bats, oozes...

When you attack, you make 2 rolls. The first roll, which you already made, is to check whether you hit with the attack. If the roll on that exceeds the targets AC, you hit, and then make a roll for the attack's damage, based on the weapon. For instance, at your level, your Thunder Cannon should deal 2d6 piercing damage, plus an extra 1d6 thunder damage because of your Thunder Monger feature.
