What Could The Next Currency Token Be? [poll]

At the moment, their are 4 types of tokens used for currency in wynncraft:

-Emerald
-Emerald Block
-Liquid Emerald
-Zhight moneeee


Now, as inflation continues to be an issue, we see trades using multiple stacks of Liquid Emeralds, often requiring more than one trade.

So, theoretically, it could be possible that with a new update such as Dern could bring a a currency token that is equivalent to 64 LE.

so, what kind of token could be added next, that would=1 stack? here are some of my ideas:

• Vapour Emerald Vape nationnnn
• Molten Emerald
• Plasma Emerald
• Potatoe
• Nuclear emerald? idk

What do you think? have any other suggestions?

A while ago someone suggested an idea where 64 LE could be converted to 1 Gaseous Emerald or something along those lines. I believe the idea was shot down though, due to the fact so few people would actually use it. Maybe nowadays it would be a different story though.

except Gaseous sounds cancerous so

 

WAIT but in order to even support a new currency, we have to fix the economy first -_-

 

Except emeralds don't have a liquid/gas state

 

There wont be another token of currency because, as many mods have stated, it will make duping easier. No doubt the market will get inflated by the next major update, but I think it will just be more of a pain to trade.

I personally think there should be a data bank. Like make another bank that takes money and have it just be a number that you can take out at the same bank again. So if you dont have enough space for a lot of money, you can put it in the bank.

For those who are gonna try and give ideas on stopping another insane inflation problem, don't. Only way to stop it would be a money sink and all the current money sinks are terrible (Mythics, collectables, horse breeding, etc.).

I suggested a silimilar idea a while ago and they said it would make duping easier to but nowdays, they could dupe things like T6 powders or mythics that's a bs reason to not implement it.

 

The difference between duping Mythics and Money is that Mythics are much more easy to spot. The chances of you getting a mythic with the exact same stats (and rolls, with the added stars) are practically 0%, so if a mod finds two mythics that have the exact same stats, it's blatantly obvious they've been duplicated. However, with emeralds, there's no difference between an Emerald you've gained from a Level 1 Zombie outside Ragni and an Emerald you've gained from a Frozen Golem in the Freezing Heights. All emeralds, emerald blocks and liquified emeralds are exactly the same as each other, so it's impossible to tell a non-duplicated stack of LE from a duplicated one, as there's no unique identifiers for each LE/Stack.

I don't actually expect them to add a new currency, I was just wondering what ideas people could come up with for names. I would support a data system over items as well

however, dupers often will buy a mythic, make 2, and sell the origanal. this allows them to make back the money they spent on it in the first place and still keep the "free" mythic for their personal use. they just would not tell anyone about the second one.

 

or we can solve this problem in a much more efficient way by making some sort of LE sink where a desirable item/quest/event could be given by spending x money

this way we don't have dupers fucking up the economy even more, as well as solving the overinflation of LE
plus it's new content

 

If they kept logs of the bank and vigorously tested it to make sure no fucking about can come of it, it would be fine. If someone was able to glitch to code and take out infinite amounts of LE, a log that mods can have access to would show it.

You forgot that Mythics can be rerolled after dupe, thus making them harder to spot.

Wynncrafts bad economy isn't directly down to the amount of LE in a trade/storage. It's because of the value of an emerald. It's basically worthless.
A new item worth (item)=x*E isn't a way to fix the economy. It wouldn't actually do anything. It's like being in a country IRL, say Denmark (no offense, just a random country. I'm danish myself). If they had a terrible economy, you would just make a kroner note, with a higher number on it. Doesn't do jack to fix anything.

The real fix, as stated before, is to get rid of a lot of the emeralds. Raise the value of the rest of them. That is only achieved by money sinks, or a complete stop for new emeralds going into the system coming from thin air.
