Debuff is more weakening an item after buffing it to balance it due to oversights. Technically Hive armor was buffed a long time ago (albeit in a way different way than sp), so this a debuff.

Nerfs never have a buff happen earlier so...

 

In pvp element tanks are OP, but can be beaten by high damage assassin or else
In pve element tanks often do not so much damage, making it hard to do LI as fast as other builds

imo, element tank isn't the first thing to nerf/balance, ls must be fixed, cancer must be nerfed, and then balance will be able to be done with element tanks

 

They also got increased element stats before the skill increase, so it's less a "debuff" and more a "balancing" of the items.

 

Hive items used together gave a hell of a lot of rianbow defense. Specifically chestplate and boots. The hive items were also way too easy to use in terms of skill points for some of the strongest armours in the game.

It got it's IDs changed and buffed in the aspects they're meant to be strong in while weakened in the areas they should be as good.

Yes, please. This. Definitely this. The negatives are literally nothing if you just use gear with negative attack tier which cancer counters and still keeps you at super fast.

so time for my mostly meaningless opinain but here it goes....
Now tanks can be beaten by stuff like cata, fatal, grim thrunda or idol but the damage needed to take down just the weakest of tanks is that from mythic tier items. In my opinion a godly tank build is fine as it takes godly damage to kill it. but then we get the issue of tanks that do a TON of damage *cough* apoc *cough* and THEN the issue comes. i do think that a near unkillable tank is perfectly ok, but a tank that can do massive damage is not....

Idol: LAWL

 

with idol i can prove it ;)
and grim has poison though...

 

Idol has its weaknesses though, and can be completely blocked without a ton of effort.
Grim needs nerf

 

personally i think grim is fine. there are very few items i think need nerfed but i think about buffs and nerfs from a competitive fighting game player so im all for buffs
idol just needs massive water defense but still is good (id like a small buff though cause guard, apoc, thrunda and maybe alka are better)

 

So basically it's the second worst mythic spear

 

but everyone of them is viable...
