if i was on a PC I'd do some fooling around with the image on Paint.NET

 

Guess we need to break out the steganography tools

 

wwhile the image looks corrupted, i think there might be something IN the image. in the vvideo followwing, it showws a familiar effect wwith a image of the creator of jojos bizarre advventure eating a donut. the image has text inserted into it, so if someone can find out how to see "inside" the image, then maybe wwe could get another clue.

I looked through the image as a text file (using strings command from linux) and found nothing that was coherent, I'm pretty sure that this is steganography (you can even see the outline of something in the image)

What tool did you use for that? (Can someone tell me how to quote?)

 

i literally googled stegonography decrypters

also it should say reply in the bottom right of my comment, click that and it auto-quotes my message into the box

 

Thanks, but steganography is just an image with a hidden message, so if it doesn't know how the image is scrambled then it won't work

 

yeah i thought so, i don't have any experience w/ things like this but I get the idea - most of the decrypters asked me for a password and I used shadow (based on the bold text in OP) which might be useful?
