Before people comment, yes this is me copying @ImpulseCake 's thread, How Much Would Be Mythics Worth In Potatoes. However, I'm taking this an extra step, and finding mythic costs in real life.
    Lots of math will follow...

Using this source, the cost of an emerald block is $263.6 billion IRL.
Assuming that 1 LE has an equivalent value of 64 EB, then the cost of 1 LE is $16,870,400,000,000...
or 16 trillion, 870 billion, and 400 million dollars.
So, for 1 stack of LE, that would be $1,079,705,600,000,000. I'm not going to try and spell that out.

After doing some research (looking at first google answer), the cost of a 10 pound bag of potatoes is about $5, so we'll just round to 5.
Dividing the cost of one stack of LE by $5 (one 10 pound bag) results with 215,941,120,000,000 10 pound bags of potatoes being worth the same as 1 stack of LE.
However, there are about 30 potatoes for each 10 pound bag (idk about this, it varies on potatoes. I used google and medium weight potatoes). So, it would actually take about 6,478,233,600,000,000 potatoes to be able to buy 1 stack of LE IRL.
or for a simplified version, 1 stack of LE = 6,478,233,600,000,000 potatoes in real life.

All prices taken from @ImpulseCake's thread
    Lament:
    Lament 6 stacks of le : 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 6 = 38,669,404,600,000,000 potatoes

    Apocalypse:
    Apocalypse 4 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 4 = 25,912,934,400,000,000 potatoes

    Spring:
    Spring 10 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 10 = 64,782,336,000,000,000 potatoes

    Grimtrap:
    Grimtrap 8 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 8 = 51,825,868,800,000,000 potatoes

    Warchief
    Warchief 2 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 2 = 12,956,467,200,000,000 potatoes

    Discoverer:
    Discoverer 20 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 20 = 129,564,672,000,000,000 potatoes potatoes

    Thundercrack:
    Thundercrack 7 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 7 = 45,347,635,200,000,000 potatoes

    Gaia:
    Gaia 10 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 10 = 64,782,336,000,000,000 potatoes

    Weathered:
    Weathered 7 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 7 = 45,347,635,200,000,000 potatoes

    Stratiformis:
    Stratiformis 82 stacks of le: 6,478,233,600,000,000 * 82 = 531,215,155,200,000,000 potatoes
Disclaimer: most of this math was hand done, since I don't really know how to convert exponents to actual numbers at this level. There may be some mistakes with the math[/SPOILER]

The problem with this is, however, pricing in real life depends on demand, purity and rarity of the material.
As emeralds in Wynn are not very rare, not to say very common, the price of an emerald block would drop to pretty close to none compared to what it is now.
Thus, if this were to be real life, I bet a 10 pound sack of potatoes would go for something around half a block of emeralds, which means that this whole equation was outdated before it was even begun.

1 LE might have a smaller mass, but that doesn't really matter if the only way to obtain it is to exchange 64 EB with it, making it worth 64 EB.
Same goes for dollar bills. They are really only small sheets of paper, but they are worth what is printed on them.

so since emeralds are practically worthless compared to actual currency/minerals (gold standard, petrodollar etc) does that explain why our player economy is so fucking shit?

Probably, as a solution to our player economy, I propose that all trades happen through potatoes. At first, it won't do much. but at a 2:1 exchange rate, it'll become more of a money sink than anything else.
Ignore how hard it would be to fit all these potatoes in your inventory... Maybe we need something like liquid potatoes or something.
