Road To Dern Speculation

As you all know by now, the "Road to Dern" update has been announced on the "Update on 1.17 Update," but people have been wondering what this future update after 1.17 would be about. Let's take a look at the map itself.

It's pretty small, huh?

Now let's get into the name of the update itself. Why would Grian say Road to Dern instead of just saying "Dern Update" (or Expansion)? I'll tell you why. It's because this tells us that this Coming Soon area is not specifically Dern itself, but more of a "highway" area that leads up to Dern.

I think there might be a second bridge like the one between nesaak and troms, the only difference is that people will get one shotted once they step on the bridge.

 

Wynncraft isn't very subtle when it comes to hiding hints like these. Knowing them there will likely also be a quest that involves leading a guy from one end of the road to the other while avoiding edgy monsters.

dern is a realm right?so it would be another dimension,which isnt on the map and this part saying "coming soon" would have the dern portal with some corruption

The road to Dern will then lead to the unfinished Highway to Dern, which will be released in another update. The highway to Dern will lead to the unfinished Boulevard to Dern, which will be released in another update. The boulevard to Dern will lead to the Promenade to Dern, which will be released in another update....

 

Wait, this could be Morgor. According to @shamos200 's suggestion (most likely what they'll base it on), Morgor is north of Dern. Nothing says that Dern is right after the abandoned mines. We can however remove Bloomi from the speculations.

Just stop there this thread will just generate useless hype and anger when there wont be an update in two months and the road to dern wont even be the next update, I suspect that we wont even get it this year next year sure.

The CT should just stop giving estimated time.
