Corkus Loot Run - What Mythics Have You Found?!

Obviously, we don't know as much as we'd like to about loot chests, and there are lots of theories and strategies about them. For example: Does loot armor effect chests? Nobody really knows, but my own tests have concluded that it does not, although we can't find out for sure unless one of the actual admins tells us.

Another theory, does the level of the mobs surrounding a chest effect the loot? This right here is why I'm making this forum.

Theories suggest while doing the Corkus loot run you should be able to find just about any Mythic, but I've literally only heard of people finding Mythic boots.

That being said, please comment what Mythics you have found here (if any)!

That is simply observable. Take a lvl 100 and open some chests in a lower level area. You get lower level loot. While if you take an unaffected chest with a lvl 100 you get lvl 100 loot.

 

For your first point, its in quite a bit of controversy-Salted once said in a thread that loot bonus do affect chests, but tests done by players have yielded different results. Some suggest loot bonus only increases quantity of loot, not quality of loot. So we don't really have a confirmation.

For your second point, its a definite yes. The level of the loot in a chest is determined by the level of the mobs surrounding it. If there are no mobs near the chest in a 10 block radius(not sure, needs confirmation), the loot will then generate according to your level.

 

My overall point though, sorry if it's a bit hidden, is that loot chests are mysterious, and sometimes unexplainable. And I'm curious to know what Mythics people have found.

did open like 4 or 5k chests in this loot run before it was published and found no mythics, now i wont even bother trying, and wasting my time on this. another loot chest mechanic is that they get better loot after staying untouched longer :D

I found a reminder with 8 intel

 

I found no mythics but I found a prism, Aquarius, ignition, and vaward.

 

Still no mythic, still trying...

Pretty sure that guy is only running around in sky islands, but correct me if im wrong. And i dont think he uses forums much^^

 

Found 4 mythics on this run: Nirvana, Boreal, and 2 Grimtraps (One of them became a birthday gift :P)

Looks like I've been looting the wrong place. Two Strati have been found in Corkus.

 

I wish I was one of them...
