Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Don't know. Rineth just said that she was in the emergency room."

 

"Which one? Or where, rather?" I ask.

 

"He said 'the emergency room', so there's probably one. I don't know where that is."

 

I sigh, "Well, thanks for informing us." I say.

"I hope she'll be ok." Artemis says.

 

"She'll be fine. I can look around for the room if you want."

 

"If you really want to, you don't have to go out of your way for us though." Shadow Stephanie says casually.

 

"Well, unless one of you wants to talk or has something to show me, I've got nothing else to do."
I admit.

 

"We were just having a food break and deciding what to do next. I've got a meet at 2am, so I have time to kill." I say.

"There is such a thing as 'too much' shopping too." Stephanie says, giggling.

 

"Well, I'll go searching then. Join me if you'd like."
I say, walking away.

 

The group waves, but nobody follows.

I walk around the city more, looking around.

 

They're paging through a magazine, though they seem nervous.

"Start with a compound bow, then we can go play with the variants." Linoa suggests.

The map says there are five other places to go...
- A residential area
- A black market
- A group of mansions
- The stronghold in the center
- An industrial area

 

Angela tries to see what type of magazine they're reading.

 

"I forgot what those looks like."
Crystal admits.
"Can you help me?"

I look for a possible entrance to the spire.

 

It seems to be a magazine on pets and non-human creatures.

"I'll get them, you go find the archery range." Linoa says.

There's four, but the gates to the courtyard are all shut.

 

"Okay."
Crystal says, then walks off to find the archery range.

I try flying in.

 

Angela goes back to sipping her hot cocoa, not wanting to disturb them.

 

Seems there's a drink machine off to the side, though the cups that are free are smaller than the one Angela was given.

It's off to the side, near the training dummies.
...Linoa seems to be taking her sweet time with the bows, though.

A gargoyle statue leaps up from its pedastol and blocks your way.
"We both know you see the gates." They utter.

 

Angela smiles slightly, walking over to the machine to see what it sells.

 

Crystal trots over to the range, not minding the wait.

"Should I knock?"
I ask, genuinely.
