Archer/Hunter Whadda' Yall Think Of My Build?

So recently Fallen Factory made me realize my original build was shite. I reset my skill points to try again, and came up with this. I still think it might suck though.

STR=24, DEX=48, INT=30, DEF=45, AGI=40

I was going for kind of a tanky Archer build. My gear is:
Maelstrom
Storm Caller

Veekhat's Horns
Veekhat's Udders
Touroto Trousers
Electro Mage's Boots

It's basically random armor paste together

 

This isn't even a build? It's random quest items slapped together

 

You guys are so mean. yes, i know this may not be the best build but you don't have to straight-up criticise it.

It is feed back because it's not a build. How am I supposed to critique something that's literally random armor put together?

a build is sometimes like this, random armour. how to critique this? tell him how he could replace the armour pieces, say better options.

A build is sometimes random armor. That sure makes you sound credible.

This build is totally a viable build because it slapped together random quests item and it now passes as a tank.

Anywho; @Wmafranz if you can tell me what level you are I can help you w/ a tank build. Alternatively, I think it'd be a better option to wait until level 100 if you're not already at that level. Currently your build can't really pass as a tank because it IS random armor put together, and I'm sure you probably realize that ;)

And no, not feelings over facts lol. He asked for help with his build. I wasn't even being mean but since you think I am, I can assure you he'd rather be told that his build needs lots of work than be told "oh it's great" because his feelings matter according to your statement

 

Look i didn't mean to offend you or start an argument, i just meant instead of saying how trash his build his says how he can improve. this doesn't mean you have to say "great build wow", you can say "I think this build needs a bit of work. i recommend <insert armour recommendations>.

if you want a tank archer at this level just use morph items

 

I said what he asked for and it isn't even being mean by saying it isn't a build becuase it is not usable a build you sir just need to accept the truth and he even state the it's actually suck himself

 

Sorry for the late response, but it's fine people. I can take harsh criticism. I would just like it if I could get some pointers. This is my first playthrough and I actually didn't even know what a build was until recently. I am at level 89, and yeah, I kind of realised tanking wouldn't work after another failed dungeon run :/

 

So, archer is kind of "built", in a sense, for a more glass-cannony playstyle. It's also very difficult to make an endgame tanky build before you actually get to level 100, simply because there are several great items for tanking that you don't have access to.

Your current build - it really does feel like a bunch of random items you've found thrown together. You should try to first figure out what you want from your build, and then find what items you want from your build using a website such as Wynnapps (disclaimer: not working well right now), and then go get those items.
So like if you wanted a build for tanking, note that tankiness is much more dependent on elemental defenses than the skill defense and health. Then you would go on Wynnapps and find some items that have good elemental defenses or skill points and the like.

So you might end up with something like (just an example, too lazy to find accessories but they are an essential part of the build):
Corrupted Nii Shako
Admiral
Kratke
Sodeta Boots

Maelstrom (just an overall pretty decent damage spell damage weapon)


I would definitely recommend, if you have not, to complete the quest ???. This gives you access to the Cosmic set which is amazing for XP but is also decent for survivability. Using full Cosmic and XP accessories, I believe you can solo CSST and probably Fallen Factory too.

 

Thanks. That website is really helpful. I think I might end going with high strength/high dexterity instead of defence. Also as a side not I already soloed CSST lol

 

A build is a organized set of armor that makes the player strong in a certain aspect, no hate and I'm not trying to be mean but this is just a combination of random things, now that's fine but at higher levels when trying to do The Hive or LI this would not work the best!

 

this build can be good but first:you can find betters second:it doesnt have a reason to use it at all,there isnt any stat that is pretty good here

 

Alright guys so I understand that this build sucks. I am now going for a high damage and crit chance/spell spam type build. Does anyone have any specific armor pieces or accessories to recommend? I was looking at admiral, but I still need a helmet, and possibly leggings.
