Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh." Shadow Stephanie says, surprised.

 

"That answer your question?"

 

"I guess." Shadow Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

"So, consider getting the others out and putting that back in the Shadow Realm."

 

Stephanie flies back up to the spaceship, the spaceship itself disappearing a short while later.

The group steps through a portal near to where Shadow Stephanie first landed, Angela looking as nervous as ever.

 

Alice glances at the city walls, the guards no longer with weapons drawn.
"Well...?"
"We already got permission to enter, but their mayor and their god are off assassinating someone." Rineth says. "Of course, on the condition we don't harm anyone."

 

"Sounds good." I say.

"Should we enter?" Artemis asks.

 

Shifting to dig a small hole, Crystal puts Aral'hrah inside before shifting around the hole to cover it, putting holes in his body to let Aral'hrah breathe.

 

This seems to be good enough, though it's a bit cold for Crystal.

Another raptor taps on him once morning comes.

"I mean... we won't know where the relic is until we ask, right?" Linoa says.

Peridot seems to already have gone in.

 

Crystal's eyes shift around him to look at the raptor.
"Hi!"

 

It jumps, startled.
"What the..." It utters before darting off.

 

Crystal just checks on Aral'hrah.

 

Still asleep.

 

Crystal looks around to see if any other raptors are around.

 

There are a few preening or just trotting around, but less than a dozen are in sight.

 

Crystal shifts away from covering Aral'hrah to look around to see if he can find the raptor from before.

 

They seem to be watching from a fair distance, hiding in some brush.

 

Crystal starts walking over to them.

 

They hesitate before taking a few steps back.

 

Continuing to walk, Crystal smiles and waves.
