Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Bored, Alice transfers herself from hiding in you to hiding in Angela.

 

Angela just sips her tea, shaking a bit as she recovers.

 

Alice waits a bit, before thinking and letting Angela notice her.
"How's the tea?"

 

Angela jumps a bit, spilling some of her tea.

"U-Uhm, it's very n-nice." Angela says, shaken.

 

"Stop worrying so much, geez. We're all here for you." Alice says, checking for any voice changers or other disguising objects within Angela's body.

 

Strangely, there appears to be an odd crystal in the side of Angela's mouth, hidden over one of her teeth.

"I-I'm just n-not very b-brave or c-confident..." Angela says, taking another sip of tea.

 

Alice looks for a way to subtly remove it.

"Well, you're both considering you were willing to be here at all."

 

It's stuck over her tooth, there'd be no way to remove it without it being obvious what was trying to be done.

"T-These people are nice. I-I'm still s-sort of scared of them, b-but they've mostly s-shown me kindness." Angela says, taking a cupcake and biting into it.

 

Alice leaves it be, checking Angela's thoughts.
"Aren't they your friends, though?"

 

"I-I think they are. I-I really like Artemis, she's been the k-kindest to me." Angela says.

Most of Angela's thoughts seem to be focused on what she's going to say next, since she's speaking through her mind.

 

"Definitely stick with Artemis. Katie's good too, when she's not sleeping at least." Alice thinks, going silent after her last remark.

 

"I t-think that's b-because she d-didn't have one of Stephanie's p-potions." Angela says, brightening up a little.

 

Alice waits out the tea party.

 

Once the tea party ends, Shadow Stephanie and I clean up the mess and de-summon the cups and cake stands before the group starts heading toward the city again.

 

"Do you think I should take him home?"

 

"Probably."

Peridot follows, Alice monitoring Angela's thoughts as she walks while remaining silent.

 

Angela seems to be thinking about the spider webs, imagining what would happen if she were to be caught by one.

 

"Okay."
Crystal says, walking over to Aral'hrah and gently scooping him up.
"Do you have a name?"
He asks the Matriarch suddenly.

 

Alice checks the crystal to see if it affects her thoughts.

She pauses.
"...May I ask why? Everyone calls me Matriarch."

 

The crystal doesn't seem to be effecting Angela's mind.
