You flip over the card, and the front shows a skull wearing a black hood.

The card dissapears in a cloud of smoke. And floating right in front of you (I'll make a token later) is a ghostly humanoid skeleton.

The skeleton is wearing tattered black robes and has glowing blue eyes. In his hand is a spectral scythe.

He announces in a dry, booming, eerie voice:

Avatar of Death: "He who drew the skull card must enter battle alone."

That's why it was such a big deal about who drew the card

I will put the stats up when I get to my computer (I'm in the hotel lobby on my phone)

Actually now that I think about it...

Ti Lin' has ranged attacks, so he can keep up with flight.

Those attacks are saves, which means he does not care bout AC

Those attacks do equal to or more than half of deaths, which puts him equal to or above deaths damage per enemy health

He has low health, which means so does death

He can run 60 ft if he uses his feline dash thing, so he can keep pace with death (almost)

Ti Lin is at disadvantage due to the small containing area, but a lot of peole in the area can be useful

This may not be as bad for Ti Lin as I thought, assuming death fails all the saves and Ti Lin's damage rolls are higher than deaths
