As of 5E, DEX-based paladins can be quite good, considering how useful Dexterity is in 5e.

 

True enough, but casting from two stats is never really a desirable situation.

From what I've heard:

Ranger/Druid or Ranger/Cleric if you want better spellcasting options.

Or

Ranger/Rogue or Ranger/Fighter if you want more martial capabilities.

Ranger/Monk can also be interesting...

 

It would make sense, but if you multiclass I need a real reason to let you. In this case, a reason for you to swear an oath.

Time to analyze...

Spoiler: Analyzation.

Ranger/Monk- Monk has some rather OP abilities, but a lot of them are at higher levels, and I plan to multiclass around level 10. Also, Kyelas's stats are too well-rounded to make use of Unarmored Defense. He'd have an AC Of 14 compared to my Monk's 17 AC. He also lived in a monastery, so excuse there.
Ranger/Rogue- I get some martial ability, and it can work with Kyelas's DEX being higher than his STR. Not too much of an increase in ability, though, and idk how I can work out making him half Rogue.
Ranger/Fighter- I sacrifice no HP increase, and I get a lot of martial ability (including a second fighting style). I also already have magic, so I don't need Eldritch Knight for magic. This could actually work, if I could find a reason.

Ranger/Cleric- It makes sense for an Aasimar, so an excuse won't be impossible. It would also allow me to focus on offensive capabilities for my Ranger spells since I can get some really good support spells as a cleric, including every resurrection ability that isn't bad *cough* Reincarnation *cough*.
Ranger/Druid- Extra spellcasting. I'm not too sure about this one, since Wild Shape is the only really useful thing that works with Kyelas.

Cleric seems to be the best option.

I don't like the sound of that.
