[poll] How Many Old 2/4 Mana Regen Concentrations Do You Have?

Alright, so I noticed that some people were attempting to sell old 2/4 Mana Regen Concentration rings without the -% spell damage for some pretty crazy prices. I want to know how many of you own such a ring. I left the poll up above.

 

Do not be afraid to post below with how many you have and/or a screenshot.

 

First off, you aren't allowed to sell old items for more just because they're old, even if the old version is better, so please report anyone doing so.

First off, this isn't like the debate between old dyed nether/adventure armor and the new non dyed version. The colour doesn't have gameplay significance so it make sense for them to sell at the same price. However old concentration does have a better and functional ID than new ones with gameplay feature. So if something is better than it make sense to allow people buying it for higher price.

Secondly, wynncraft itself already have a habit of allowing and encouraging limited items. Collectibles gave out by admins themselves, limited Christmas set and hallowynn masks. These items already are not obtainable so some people are willing to pay a lot to get them. Old concentrations are eventually the same. Limited and unobtainable items have values.

Please enlighten the community as for why it is not allowed, if it is possible and official, would appreciate if the moderation team can publish an official notice similar to the dyed nether armour to inform everyone if this shall be the case.

 

2/4 is the highest possible.

@JuicedBananas also if someone is willing to pay more for an old item (gravity for example) is that allowed?

 

Afaik, it is allowed to start an auction and have the participants bid it up really high. It is not allowed to sell an item like this for a static price.

I really wanted to comment something on this.
Selling items to someone who does not know the fact that the items are obtained illegally, vanilla items, or items that are systematically broken due to the item-manage-system failure, is a scamming and what is prohibited by our rules.
So Juiced made a reference on that, because this is based off the idea that taking advantage of the items which were obtained through bugs is not fair for everyone. This case, of course, is not an exception of that.
But there's a fact that we cannot stop all the people in the trade market on forums and in-game from trading valuable items such as these old Concentrations which don't have -Spell % on them. Even if we tried to, I'm sure most of you will still argue how that is ridiculous and such. In fact, there has been many trades in past for old valuable items that actually make gameplay advantages. As SilverMirror mentioned, collectable items are the ones itself. and all this happened because developers (and GMs) didn't know how to add new IDs to old items that don't have the new IDs. DEVELOPERS
This is not an official statement from the mod team but it's just from me personally. My advice is that the community should make sure that those buying old valuable items do not feel regret buying them and do not accuse them of scamming. No one can be responsible if someone had sold a valuable item for a very high price and then the buyer accused them after the trade had been completed, because the fact, that both traders agreed on the price at the time, will not ever change.

As for these old Concentrations, I'm almost sure the price will start dropping soon due to the fact that most of the people own them already or that people would hardly pay 4x of the normal prices just for the little change of Spell %. I can't predict what will happen in the future, but I guess that sums up my thoughts.

Just use moon pool circulet, same mana, it's free and some other nice stats. I don't see why anyone would want an old concentration when it's not as good as some other rings, if they are selling for the vanity of it then it's against the rules anyway :/.

 

People want to use Concentration because there is no requirement, making it viable in all builds.
