Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I think I have O Positive. I know Stephanie does." I say.

"I don't think my blood would be very useful." Artemis says calmly.

 

"If you can provide a cauldron full, I'll give the relic to you for that and eight timewarp potions." Nyx says, content.

 

"Slow-Motion potions." Stephanie corrects.

"Deal." I say, confident.

 

I nod, stand up, and address the humans.
"Well, I'm ready. Who's coming?"

 

"My bad, sorceress. I trust I'll be seeing you soon, then, or are you able to bring everything here now?"

Everyone but Craig stands up.
"I... should probably wait for my partner."

 

"I only have two more Slow-Motion potions, so I'll need to make some more. They take a while to make though, and a lot of resources." Stephanie explains.

"Yeah, but we can just magic up a cauldron of blood no problem." Shadow Stephanie says. It's hard to tell if she's being sarcastic or not.

 

Crystal stands up as well, ready to leave.
"Alright then. I can lead."
I say, exiting the house, and Crystal follows me.

 

"I'll wait. Nobody really cares to come here anyways." Nyx shrugs.

Everyone except for Craig follows you, Ytir staying by your heels.

 

"Do you get lonely?" Katie asks innocently.

 

I fly up for a few seconds, mapping out my path to the portal, and start walking.

 

"No, I've got demons to keep me company. Hell isn't too bad once you learn to play their games." Nyx says, oddly happy about it.

After a straight walk, the group reaches the portal, unhindered by raptors.
"I'm gonna come in after chief gets back." Ytir says.

 

"Do you know what he's off doing?"
I ask, scanning the area for hiding raptors.

 

Katie seems intimidated, and Angela appears terrified, trying to stay out of sight.

"Alright, we'll be off to get those things you wanted." I say happily, opening a portal.

 

"Thanks! I'll have the relic ready in an hour or so. I handed it off to Lucy for safe keeping." Nyx says, waving.

Only four are nearby, watching.
"Nope." Ytir says, trotting off with two other raptors that were hiding.

 

"Well, come on, then."
I say to the rest of the group, walking through the portal.

 

"Got it." I say, heading through the portal, the group following. Angela seems a little caught off guard, looking at Nyx for a moment before sprinting through the portal.

 

They follow you, awestruck as they see the size of the hallway.

Alice separates from Katie as the group gets through.
"No wonder she creeps you out."

 

"For Xlentia."
I comment, starting to walk, as Crystal comes up at the rear of the group.

 

Silent, they follow you.

 

"So, there's a couple of places to go, got anything you specifically would want to see first, without seeing all your options?"
