Video New Corkus Lootrun

Hey!

Since the old Rodoroc/Molten Heights loot run got nerfed quite a bit, I made my own in Corkus. I recorded a video for my friends some time ago, and today I decided to add some subtitles as the first 1min is in italian (rest is music), and share it with others too. Sorry for the quality (and my voice, I wasn't feeling very well at the time), I recorded this in a rush with my OBS streaming settings.

Most chests are unleveled, which means it'll be easier to find high level items if you lootrun with a lv100/101 class. There are also some lv 80-95 chests, as some items around that range are worth a lot (see Follow the Wind, Kaze, Squid Anklet, Diamond Dust, Wind Mimic, Dark Shroud, Booster Plate, Old Keeper's, Alkatraz, Apocalypse, Hero, and more).

You can find mythics in this run. It's unlikely, because as you probably know, they're very rare. However, me and my friend got 5 (he got four, and I got one) in 2.5 weeks of running (once a day or so: we got Nirvana, Grimtrap, Boreal, Boreal and Spring): never give up.

I have a couple questions,

One, I did this with my Mage and it was a ton slower (took 35 min, possibly because I was watching your vid while doing)
So is it warrior recommended?
2, in your vid did you have loot gear on?

 

1. I usually do this with my mage, however at the time of the recording my mage was in Detlas and had no scrolls. Both Warrior and Mage can do it at the same speed, however yeah, it does take a lot of time at the start because you need to follow the instructions on the video. Once you memorize it, it becomes easier and faster. There's no real difference between Warrior and Mage in terms of how quick you can finish the run.

2. No, I was just using my Guardian build. Honestly I don't know the reason, but I seem to find way better stuff when I'm running with my mage, that's why I ended up with only a single legendary in the video.

There's no specific class requirement. I wouldn't loot run with Assassin though, it takes way more time before of its movement spell being crap.

Should he loot run with his currently leveled up mage/warrior or make a new class (archer/assassin) that would be better suited for this loot run? I had this question too. @fLARE2b

 

Warrior, Mage, and Archer are recommended for this loot run. I've tried them all, no real time difference (took me 10 mins to reach the chest on top of the ship with Assassin). I personally use Mage because I like teleport.

 

Ah, it's just that I had some trouble with Archer getting to some places, maybe I just need to get used to it. Plus you made it look so easy haha.

 

How do You memorize every singe chest? its hard

 

Practice. After about 6 runs I memorized my Rodoroc loot run which took much longer.

@fLARE2b the reason why nobody is showing loot runs is because it destroys it totally for everybody that put the time and effort into finding these chests. They wont get shit, when everybody who did nothing for beeing able to loot all these chests run them over and over again and by that minimize the chance for all the people who actually used hours and hours to get this,to get any good items. So thank you for destroying it for the people that actually put any effort into loot running... Good fucking job (sry for beeing a little rude but posting this makes absoluteley no sense to me, because it destroys the idea of getting things by deserving them and doing something for it and putting all that time and effort into actually playing the game)

 

I'll let you know that I am responsible for creating this run. It's my decision whether I should post it or not.

Many people have found mythics thanks to this (look above, even a Strati), I get in-game msgs everyday from players who have found their first mythic thanks to it too.
Your concept of "people have to deserve things": a lot of work was put into memorizing this run and creating the video, so that others could use it. By that logic, noone should ever be generous and should just keep everything for himself. I learned it and I put my hard work into something that I decided to share. I don't see the problem with that.

It greatly decreased the chances of me finding any mythic while running, and me only. Because I can assure you that noone even had the idea of making a run in Corkus before I made mine and publicized it.

That being said, I fail to understand the reasoning behind your rant.
