    Wynncraft is now compatible with Minecraft 1.12. You can play Wynncraft with any client version 1.8 through 1.12.

    We'll be phasing out older Minecraft versions in the coming months, so be sure to update before we do.

    Please be sure to thank the ViaVersion team (MylesIsCool and Matsv) as well as @jpresent for making this happen so quickly.

    as long as everything's fixed 1.9+ should be great, actually, what with the command block optimization features and new blocks for textures
    once we get to 1.12+, there'll be cool new music stuff too

    It's nice how Wynncraft is updating, but it will suck not being able to play this in 1.8. A server I play in a lot is in 1.8, and 1.8 is just convenient for me. Even though new features can be added, it will be somewhat inconvenient.
