Video King's Recruit Animated!

So..... I am working on the FIRST WYNNCRAFT ANIMATION even if it will be a little bit shitty but, with the help of the community we can make it BIG! So here is the first part sorry if your eyes bleed. All you have to do IS tell me how can I improve it. There is still; no background, no caravan, no caravan driver skin,no voice actor(I think I will just put subtitles like in-game)If anyone has the map of wynncraft please send it to me private.
It is not fully rendered it is just a quick render before the real one to make it better.Also it took me 3 hours to make this 6 seconds.


Player:Hey!

• Caravan Driver: Finally, you're awake! Everyone already went on ahead.
• Caravan Driver: This is as far as we go, right to the border.
• Caravan Driver: The King is waiting for you in Ragni. That gate marks the entrance to the Wynn Province, so the castle can't be too far from here.
• Caravan Driver: I heard it's a dangerous road to the castle, but fortunately you're armed.
• Caravan Driver: Sorry we couldn't take you all the way, here is a partial refund for the journey. Use it to buy yourself some armour.

Made the player make some slight movement while listening to the the driver
Camera movment added

I might re do the whole thing if someone gives me the carvan driver skin
Also he is supposed to be given 3 emeralds by the driver
and is 12 seconds enough ?

 

I suggest using different skin for the player, more of a medieval style, so it fit the setting a bit more.

 

I would recommend to change the skin of the player a bit to match the style of wynncraft and someone coming from fruma growing weed and selling it.

 

The skin is not perma I am just doing the animating first. I mean Apart from the texture and background what do u think the animation needs.

Bow needs alot more work than a shovel :/ because i will have to animate the arrow and the bow shooting

OKAY JUST WATCHED SOME ANIMATION VIDEOS AND SLAMACOW

Yes I know this is still a wip but:
-Characters lack on depth and detail (physicly), such as the hair in the caravan driver, the eyes, and mouth. In slamacow videos, he adds depth to the mouth (He adds teeth that push out a lot, pupils are popped out, and the lips in the witch from witch encounter are popped out). I recommend popping out / bringing out the caravan drivers beard, and make it flow to

-You can't make characters stand still in 3D animation, there always has to be some form of movement (Breathing, bouncing legs, emotions, etc) otherwise the character would look stiff and choppy

-Add more dynamic movement to make the characters look more lively, such as flowing cloths or hair. Don't just make them stand, make them stand, but with style (Don't use the standard Minecraft standing pose, use a more dynamic standing pose. Images of poses can help, but I will warn you there might be some naked pictures)

 

Please I know about the your first point I already know about it (I already did some changes to the characters features and look) But to your 2ed point i want to figure this one out like how to make a minecraft character breath. And also the "flowing cloths" I tried so hard and in everyway to make it but it didn't work that is why I need some help it is very hard to make a 2 minute animation alone. But thanks so much for telling me about what I do and i will try my best to do your 2ed point and 3rd and your first point is done already :D

I think no.2 was targeted to toonish 3D animation (as in traditional 3D animation styles). Since it might be hard to constantly move a 3D CM character. There can be acceptions where figures can be compleatly still (such as no wind, or that arnt in emotional or physical pain). Probably just make them move with a dynamic posture (like no.3) like when they are walking or fighting, make movement more dynamic.

To help, compair a Slamacow animation to a Williamscraft animation.

 

But slamacow is using a much more advanced animating program than Williamscraft and me. The one big problem for me is the Time things move I struggle real hard making it i need to render the thing like 10 times to try and get it right. I saw in one of slamacow's animations he make the body Move like breathing I think i might try and do it like him but not sure if I can make it.
