A Really Bad Pun & A Wynncraft Competitor?

You just go burning people at the stake for every little pun wynndn't you agree?

 

They kept going for ages. Eventually, they said they had a huge announcement for something that would allow them to release alpha very soon. Instead of that announcement, though, they just suddenly disconnected from the world, and the forums shut down without any given reason.

My original assumption was that the thing they planned went wrong and they were so frustrated with development at this point that the owners just gave up in a fit of anger, but actually looking at it now, it seems the owner was just a scammer because you needed to donate to access alpha, and the mysterious big announcement was just to encourage some last minute donors before he stopped. Tyler, the owner, now avoids any talk about it and according to some comment on r/minecraft is happy with the money he stole. Good thing I never donated!





Also, this is completely irrelevant to the other part of this post but Dungeon Realms is currently in beta for a fairly big quest update, so they're not out of the running yet. As others said, there's also Mystic Runes that seems to be doing fine even if it has a small playerbase.

 

Yeesh, im just seeing this for myself right now. This isn't a professional way to act regardless. Also the owners/admins of a server are suppose to be mature and their getting into petty arguments. S A D

 

oh belive me some mods here aren't much better

 

Glora also posted another thread essentially shitting on basic rules designed to protect staff and younger kids on other servers. He also seemed to shit on the fact that you need evidence to report someone, which is there for obvious reasons (preventing witch hunts and angrily reporting players). This honestly worries me a lot; at least Zentrela and MysticRunes have/had good communities and decent owners. This is just...

but THE OWNER? Imagine if that were Salted or Jumla doing that; there would probably be riots on the streets
