Aquira just hugs Kiin, lifting her up slightly.

 

Kiin lets out a pained grunt before hugging Aquira back.

 

"You worried me, Kiin," Aquira says, her worried tone turning serious, "Never try and run off like that again. Understood?"

 

"B-but you promised..." She protests weakly.

 

"Plans change, promises can't always be kept," Aquira says, "But that doesn't mean you can just run off by yourself. What happened to your big sister?"

 

"She got scared and hid somewhere."

 

"What scared her?" Aquira asks, sounding rather concerned.

 

"Me." Kiin admits.

 

"Why did you scare her?" Aquira asks, serious.

 

"I tried to go into dragon form to get the fleet to find you." She admits. "Sorry, mommy..."

 

"Ugh, Kiin!" Aquira says, annoyed.

 

"Do you know if anyone else is around?"

"Oh, that seems cool. So, should we go now?"
Crystal asks.

 

Kiin stays silent, shaking a bit.

"No."
"We've been stuck here..."

"Sure. Do you know where the lowlands trail is?"

 

"Alright. Well, there's food at the farm, you can go help yourself."

"No. I don't really know anything around here."

 

"Really? The harvest isn't due for weeks, though."
"I thought it died."

"Well, I can lead you there." Aral'hrah offers, trotting towards the broken wall.

 

"It probably is, but starving's worse. Also, it was dead. It's alive now."

Crystal follows, keeping up behind Aral'hrah.

 

Aquira sighs.

"It's fine." Aquira says, hugging Kiin again.

 

"Revived? The Academy knows that kind of magic?"

Aral'hrah trots through the mantis forest, plains, and then starts down a slope leading down to the lowlands.

Kiin weakly hugs Aquira back.

 

"Not sure. My friend knows how to, though."

Crystal keeps following.

 

"Friend?"
"Come to think of it, you don't have eyes. Robot?"

Eventually, the pair comes across a bunch of raptors, Aral'hrah tapping his armor.
"Ytir?"
Ytir trots up.
"Going to need you to go up and just be present in the human kingdom."
"What about the guards?"
"It's a long story, just go with Crystal."
"Uhm... okay?"
Ytir trots up to Crystal.
