Assassin/Ninja /\ Build Concept #1 : Nona (new Series!) /\

Sorry @SilverMirror Hello fellow Wynncrafters, I've been thinking about making a build series of my own (i.e. @SilverMirror ) and thanks to @SilverMirror , I'm doing one on the best DPS weapons. Now, I am making builds around the weapons on the list that are, rather, underrated. Obviously, you see all Hive Weapons with powders and mythics, but there are some less used weapons. So, today I bring you a build on Nona, a rather underrated weapon that is ranked #11 on SilverMirror's DPS list. It's #10 on the list for melee, and its something different than Hive Weapons and Mythics. This is what made me choose it. Now, onto the build!

Build Info

Earth/Air is a rather unique combination for Elements. It is said by the community to be a rather bad combination. But we are using it nevertheless. Perhaps to prove that it is indeed a powerful combination. Don't you want to run around Sanic Speed with OP Melee Hits. Like GOTTA GO FAST, then SMACK and vanish. This one is going to be more Air oriented rather than Earth.

Final Comment

It's not a super powerful build, but it is something pretty fun to use. With over 100% walkspeed, you can run around, then smack your enemies with a spin attack and combo in some melee hits for some insane damage. The walkspeed really compensates for mediocre health as when you take damage, you can run away and regen (Vanish + HP Regen is OP). Against most bosses, it works well with the ability to dodge nearly everything and then smash your opponents.

 

What's the purpose of using a Concentration? Summa does everything you need from a Concentration and more, plus its negatives are hardly a problem in this build.

Concentration for more health I guess. Summa just reduces some of your HP regen which is pretty important.

 

You have 250 health regen from Heph; Summa's negative hardly matters and the skill point are useful.

Also, more health? 10 more health? -_-

 

Let's pretend that someone is using a Summa with -40 HP Regen. 2 Summas for that matter. Let's just say both Summas have -40 Regen. 40+40 is 80. You have 282 from Hephaestus and Gigabyte. Also ~-100 from Nona. That's approximately 100 Regen left.

 

I have to question your math here. Heph has 250 health regen, and Gigabyte has 32, so if we assume that we have -80 health regen from Summas, that makes 200 health regen left.

In any case, the health regen doesn't matter too much for survivability though since getting hit resets your health regen timer; what's way more important are elemental defenses and skill points. Summa does hurt a bit of your elemental defenses but it's trivial compared to Heph's positives in thunder and fire. Also, the +9 skill points are quite useful in this build.

 

Sorry accidentally added all HP regen to Hephaestus only. Fixed it though XD.

250 HP REGEN is what you should go for. Also, vanish + HP Regen

 

That wasn't the error I was talking about; 282-100 is 182, which is not about 100. (You also said just before that we were assuming that the Summas had -40 HR each, making -80 total, which is not -100. -100 isn't even possible with two Summas.)

alright then


But I still think Summa is better in that slot, as long as you don't go into negative HR it should be better.

 

I mean you could go 1 Summa and 1 old Conc for best results

 

Since when was this a thing? Also, I'm just going to point out that using one Summa, you don't even get 250 HP Regen.

One Summa and one Conc obviously works, I just don't think that it's as good as two Summas.

I meant that regen is generally pointless. I said that the absolute highest you should go is 250 regen (having negative is a pain tho). Having less than 250 is absolutely ok. The only reason to even have 250 is for not having to use potions in between fights.

 

This is similar to my build but I use crystal instead of hfg and use different accessories
