Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Artemis continues looking through the commands, before Eve arrives in the elevator, holding the new inhibitor.

"Oh, hey guys!" Eve says, smiling.

 

The Matriarch's painted armblade waves as she's taken back towards her 'palace.'

They're still in a coma. It's been a day and a half.

 

Stephanie closes the portal, yawning.

 

Alice seems to have been watching.
"Did... that bug paint these?"

 

Stephanie nods.

 

"Well, shit." Alice says, losing herself in the paintings.
"...you ever gonna tell Aj you did this?"

 

Stephanie shakes her head, "I wouldn't take credit for someone else's art." She says, sounding a little tired.

 

"I mean, that you brought in this many straight-up masterpieces." She says. "And, you look like you need a night in a royal guest bed."

 

"I'll tell him the Matriarch needed somewhere to store her paintings." Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

"Well, if you want, you can crash at my place. You look absolutely wiped." Alice offers. "I can relay that to him for you while you get some sleep."

 

"I'd rather head home myself and get some sleep." Stephanie says, seeming to doze off slightly at even the concept.

 

Alice splits her body, one propping Stephanie up as the other fetches a guard.

"Excuse me, can you help the queen's form home? She's falling asleep standing up."

 

"I can and will." The guard says, heading back to Stephanie before helping her stand, putting her arm around his shoulder as he walks her back to an elevator.

 

"Hey!"
Crystal smiles.
"Oh, that's where she went."

 

"Are you guys going somewhere? I kind of need to use the terminal." Eve asks.

"Oh, you can use it." Artemis says, stepping aside for Eve who walks up to the terminal.

 

"Thank you." Alice says, rejoining her bodies as she continues to look at the Matriarch's paintings.

 

"What're you doing with the Inhibitor?"
I ask, stepping away as well.

 

Nobody disturbs Alice.

"Putting it in Maralune to replace the old one. This one is an upgraded version." Eve says, typing in commands.

 

"How convenient. We were just on our way to get some plants alive."

 

Later, she heads up towards the throne room.
"Excuse me, but do you know if the king or queen are taking messages right now? The queen's form had one, but she was falling asleep and I wanted to make sure it got to the royalty."
