Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I think they were doing it out of passion, and Aj decided to put it on display in here." Stephanie says.

 

I do as well, but it's not long before Crystal catches up.

"Sure, you can come."

 

"Always curious what the stronghold's like inside."

"There are some where I can tell that was the case. Others seem rushed or use illusory techniques, like the artist wanted to finish as fast as possible to get a reward." She comments, looking primarily at the paintings.

 

Artemis continues onward, returning to her normal pace.

"Yeah, that's kind of a shame." Stephanie says, glancing around.

 

The Matriarch shakes her head.
"I'm sorry, that's also not why I came here. Can I see where the empty wallspace is, please?"

 

"Oh, sure." Stephanie says, heading through the museum to a room with mostly empty wallspace, a few paintings already hung up.

 

Crystal just keep walking.

I do as well, Crystal catching up.

 

The Matriarch looks around.
"This place looks good. It's definitely well protected... I just hope visitors will like my paintings." She says, pausing.
"Yes, this will work. Thank you, miss Stephanie."

Aral'hrah keeps quiet once again.

 

Artemis stays quiet as she heads toward the human settlement, glancing around occasionally.

"No problem!" Stephanie says happily.

 

"So, uh... are you able to open a portal, or am I going have to trek in and out of the palace to bring my paintings here?"

 

Crystal and I keep up the pace until we arrive.

The castle is completely empty, though there are shooting cracks in the walls that are less than comforting.

 

Stephanie takes out a light blue and orange crystal, throwing it down and focusing momentarily before a portal opens up to the outside of the Matriarch's home.

 

"Oh... that helps immensely. Uhm... I should've asked earlier, but is your shadow okay with this?"

 

"I'm sure she will be. The museum is for great art, after all." Stephanie says.

 

Pause.
"I'm glad you think mine can compare to these. They're all so well done, but... I guess more people seeing my paintings may help build a friendship of sorts between our people." She says, seeming relieved.

 

"I hope so." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"Well... I guess this is my cue to start bringing them over? Oh... I just realized, I never signed my paintings because everyone just calls me the Matriarch."

 

"You should probably sign them then, so you get proper credit." Stephanie says, giggling.

 

"Well... okay. I, uh... don't know how to write, though."
