It's not rude.
I quit wynncraft and came back after 2 years. I had no friends, so when someone asked me something, it was easy to reply.
The more people I helped, the more of them expected I'd reply/help on every single request of theirs. In the end, whenever i'd start the game,
I was talking to people and helping with their stuff instead of enjoying my time. It was especially tedious when they started spamming with
useless stuff.
So I said, screw it, I'll reply when I feel like it and only if it's something at least semi-important.

I came to play Wynncraft, not to chat with everyone 24/7 and fulfill their needs. If I don't reply, it's because I have my reason(s), being
rude is not one of them.

 

I guess there truly is two sides of the coin really. We should really respect the point of view of each other, we all do have our own work to go on with after all.

The fact is that some new players could actually be jerks to help (Old players alike as well). This doesn't mean everyone I helped is a jerk, but some people do cross the line with the idea of "just a favour". It is true no matter how we look at it, there will always be people like this in the bunch. It really becomes annoying especially when I am hanging out with my friends / guild mates when another lower leveled friend of mine messages me looking for help. It could be anytime, from a silly time joking around to a really tense moment in Legendary Island. And you definitely do not want to type in chat against Orange Cybel. So I might be a bit late to respond, and you might be a bit disappointed I declined. But we never meant to be rude or to belittle you at all.

And yes, some people do prefer to adventure alone while playing Wynncraft. Some people could just be shy about it, and might not want to talk to others. We all have our own reasons for these actions, so I apologize if these sorts of things do happen, but we should really respect that and learn to accept it and move on as well.

On a happier note, I found a few shops that sells the wand Reticence (Level 18 XP wand) and some other wands, which are all pretty decent wands (Off topic!). They probably will charge you around 32 EB or so, but I guess that's just a rough estimate.

Or you know, just post a "buying" post in the forums. Really, at a lower leveled, all you need is some OK gear and you are set. As long as they compliment each other (try not to put positive and negative ids together except for some cases), you will be fine.

 

Most of the things here have already been addressed. If you're looking to find a wand at Detlas WC1, you probably won't find one. It's a place full of high-level players buying and selling stuff. And making bad jokes. Amongst other things.

I've actually heard this one before. The reason is because of the colors. It would be easier to see someone who is typing like:

Also.. you assume everyone will pay you for your services? You're wrong.
And how does a low level have 30LE to spare?

What we mean is people in possession of or using a hacked client - a method for "hacking" developed by other people. While it's not true hacking (or things like DDoS), you get banned for it. It's also pretty useless to use a hacked client in Wynncraft.. I guess you could fly/speed hack to get around faster, but things like killaura (all classes do dmg to the mob they are attacking as well as the ones near that mob [in.. like... a half block radius])or no knockback wouldn't really help you.

While an aversion to cussing is.. probably a good thing in our society as a whole (and not just the server.. or minecraft.. y'know), telling someone if they can cuss (on the internet no less!) is.. probably not a good idea. At more toxic places, you could've gotten a response like:
"LOL u gonna stop me? u f*cking **** gtfo ur not my mom"
something like that... Which, I'm guessing, is something you wouldn't want.
Also, "th" looks like you're starting the word "the."

Grinding where?
Also, Nemract is outside the chat radius.
If people were grinding outside of Detlas, then.. they're probably lower level than you. I mean, what lvl 25 (or so) would be grinding lvl 13 zombies outside of Detlas? It would be far easier to grind around Nemract.

The statistic is made up. Just because you saw some people who didn't have a wand for level, you automatically stereotype us as "50% rude?"

This is a rude statement. And a stereotype.
Ethics are standards presented by a society as a whole. It's not like they're laws. You can ignore people and still be perfectly ethical.

Whose loot? Yours? You didn't even show a player taking it. And if you killed a mob around Ancient Nemract, that's probably the amount of loot you'd get. The player who allegedly stole it probably didn't even know they were stealing it - they were just trying to get to Nemract, and they happened to step in your pile of loot. People don't actively go out of their way to steal loot from players.

Yes, there are definitely some rude players in the Wynncraft community. But just because you encountered some players who didn't have a wand for you doesn't give you the right to call us "unethical," or "rude." Stop insulting us because you saw a very small percentage of the community. A lot of the players just don't have a wand for you. If I was a lvl 20 mage, and I had a lvl 20 or so wand, I wouldn't give it away. Because I would be using that wand.
As for your thoughts about being "rankist," we have our own troubles too. A lot of times, people spam us with messages saying
"do u have dxp"
"do u have a totem"
"help me fight bob"
It's because they assume we're ranked that we automatically have dxp.. or have the time to help them with a boss..

The forums also tend to be nicer than the server community as a whole. Although we might be a bit harsh in discussing suggestions (General Suggestions).

Those useless comments are only people who want likes, but here we have some people who don't agree with you who actually have constructive criticism...

Well there are 2 things. 1- Sometimes, people just like to ignore (idk why) but some people don't help because they don't know how! 2- As @Pepinho said try to ask people on discord or even on the forums, since people here are more active!

Hello! First off, I'm so sorry to hear this! A couple things that might be the reason...

1. Since Wynncraft has a realistic chat, you can only chat with people nearby to you. So if you weren't near anybody, then they would not see your message.

2. If so, people might just be rOOd :(

3. They might not actually have a wand to sell you

 

Well since my previous post got deleted for sparking a flame war, this time i'll try a more "gentle" approach.

• When you were in the Detlas suburbs (apple farm) you weren't inside the chat range of the people in Detlas.
• People don't appreciate other people calling them rude and stamming "can i haz wnd pls".
• Not a person on earth actually sells low level wands, just level up.
